The paintwork boasts a wonderful deep glossy shine and uniform finish. All panels are straight and undamaged and the extensive chrome, a feature of the De Luxe model, is in superb order with no tarnishing or pitting. This example remains correct to the build year following changes made in 1957 to a larger rectangular rear window replacing the previous oval shape and a 17% wider windscreen, as well as the correct lever door handles fitted prior to the fixed handles and button arrangement introduced in 1959. The VW and Wolfsburg Crest badges to the bonnet are proudly displayed at each end of the bonnet strap line and the rear bumper has removable vintage AA and GB badges. An invoice in the history file from 2005 by Janel Brothers of Seattle reveals a full retrim of the interior including wool headlining and wool weave carpets, at a total cost of $3,873.28. The resulting finish is perfection whilst not deviating far from the charming Beetle ethos. The original ivory knobs, handles and steering wheel are deliciously retro and remain in excellent order aside from a few small marks to the wheel rim. The expensive wool weave carpet extends throughout the car including the rear luggage space and quality fitted rubber mats protect the wool weave carpets. This is a very special classic Beetle interior and it is hard to see how it could be improved.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

The engine compartment is immaculate and the engine number is verified to match paper documents as well as the original service book whereby both engine and chassis identification markers are displayed. Exhibitionists will enjoy the minor visual engine detailing just enough to create the Wow Factor while still maintaining design simplicity. Producing a sedate 36hp, progress is surprisingly willing and the all synchromesh on the four forward gears, a feature of the De Luxe model, changes are effortless and bereft of the dreaded crunch!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The original colour coded steel wheels are pristine and remain dressed with the VW chrome dome hubcaps which are mark free and have a mirror finish. Tubeless super-balloon tyres are matching Firestone F-560 which masses of tread remaining and the spare wheel is housed in the clean front luggage compartment alongside an original tool roll and jack, correctly positioned. The fuel tank is in excellent order and features an original VW steel cap. The hydraulic brake set up has been further upgraded with a disc conversion to the front to allow for improved braking in modern traffic conditions.

HISTORY FILE
Information drawn from factory records and chassis numbers confirm this example to have been built in September 1958 with correct engine number range to correspond with this month of build, source Thesamba.com. Vehicle delivery to the supplying dealer, G.P. Motors of Port Angeles, Washington, was on 5th December 1958 and first inspection by them was carried out on 12th December 1958 at 78 miles. This information is confirmed in the original service booklet which also notes vehicle type, colour, key number and both the engine and chassis numbers. The huge history file also includes the instruction manual dated April 1958 as well as a wonderful huge collection of receipts and invoices dating back many years, including an engine rebuild in 1988, photos of the car in Seattle where it spent most of its life. Owned by father and daughter from new until 1996, there is a for sale sign in the history file from the person who purchased the car from the original owner’s daughter with a fascinating insight into the car. The vehicle has been pampered since arriving in the UK in 2009. Further delights include two mileage logs complete with fuel receipts as well as period accessories including vintage maps of Seattle, New York, Wisconsin and Ripon! There is also a Phoenix Travel Goods suitcase, Beirette camera and a Schrader tyre gauge in a presentation case.

Altogether an amazing history file to compliment this stunning 1958 Beetle.

EXTERIOR
The aerodynamic curvaceous lines of this top of the range Forth Generation Honda Prelude are beautifully accentuated by the Pacific Blue Pearl paintwork, (Code B-68P).  The fastidious long-term gentleman owner insisted on strict garage storage, he was truly fanatical over his pride and joy and even fitted genuine Honda headlamp guards upon purchase.  The paintwork boasts a deep glossy shine and uniform finish, and all factory panels are beautifully straight with even shut lines.  Small age-related markings and touched in stone chips to the original paintwork are only very minor, and there is a small blemish to the sunroof edge and a scratch to the driver’s door mirror.  All trim sections are immaculate and the supplying Honda main dealer number plates remain fitted.  An amazing preserved and unmolested example, without question one of the best examples in existence.

INTERIOR
The futuristic cabin of this sporting Prelude was hugely ahead of its time with Fluorescent Light Tube gauges and sweep-across cockpit, a very distinctive design.  The plush figure-hugging sports seats in Graphic Black Moquette, (Code Type-A), are as new with no rips, sagging or UV light damage.  Turn the key and you are treated to an exciting array of bright lights and graphics, perfectly positioned to inform the driver of vital readings as well as the all-important 4WS light extinguishing as it should after initial start-up.  Standard in every respect, except for a Bluetooth Kenwood stereo and tailored Prelude floor mats have been fitted from new.  Originality seekers will note colour code and build stickers in the door shuts, boot and under bonnet, as well as factory etching to all glass panels.  To find such an unmolested and preserved example is very rare indeed, this is a really special car.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Honda’s innovative Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control System (VTEC) unit optimises torque at low rpm and horsepower at high rpm.  The precision tuned naturally aspirated 2157cc engine produces 183bhp and 212Nm torque with the VTEC switchover point and resulting power peaks occurring at 6800rpm and 5300rpm respectively.  A top speed of 140mph and 0-62 dash in just 7.1 seconds is quoted in the marketing literature.   Precision steering accuracy is facilitated by Honda’s unique development of Electronic 4-Wheel Steer (4WS), a system which operates perfectly in this example.  The driver’s choice five speed manual gearbox is light, exact and perfectly tuned to capitalise on the engine power bands.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The optional 15in premium alloys wheels are in perfect original condition aside from two miniscule chips to one wheel rim, and the Honda centre caps are as new.  New matching Toyo tyres have just been fitted.  Absolute confidence can be assured with front and rear disc brakes with electronic four-channel anti-lock assistance to bring the car up to a steady halt.

HISTORY FILE
An incredible history file.  Registered new on 1st August 1996 by Honda Main Dealer Westgate Motors of Grimsby, the first owner was BJB Lift Trucks Ltd.  In February 1998, avid Honda enthusiast, Mr David Pool, purchased the car from Chatsworth Honda in Derby.  A vehicle order from and sales invoice from Chatsworth Honda illustrates the price paid in 1998 of £18,499 with £3,000 part exchange allowance for Mr Pool’s Third Generation Prelude.  With a Honda Civic performing daily duties, the Prelude was strictly a dry usage car for best and was kept garaged on a battery conditioner at all other times.  The history file is superb with the original service book containing 20 stamped entries, incredible for a car having covered just 52,051 miles.  All service entries are Honda Main Dealer and specialist, and the switch to specialist servicing occurred when Mr Pool’s trusted Honda Technician left the main dealer and he followed him to the specialist company, wanting only that particular Technician to work on the car!  There are documented cambelt changes and the huge history file contains many supporting Honda service invoices.  The Honda clip wallet contains all handbooks and point of sale literature as well as three sets of original keys, the valet key and code tag taped into the document holder and the red master fob still sealed in the plastic box!  Not content with one set of headlamp covers, Mr Pool purchased a spare set just in case which remain boxed in the boot!

A wonderful touch to the history file is an original sales brochure and incredibly a full mileage and fuel log kept by Mr Pool throughout his entire ownership from 1998 and 18,232 miles to 2017 and 49,205 miles upon his sad passing.  Sold by KGF Classic Cars to Mr Hoult in November 2018 he continued the mileage log and devotion and only selling to purchase another weekend car, a BMW Z4M Coupe.   This vehicle is certain to appeal to a collector of performance classics wanting one of the best, most original low mileage examples in existence.

An exceptional example far superior to the usual offering.

The engine bay is exceptionally clean. The standard 5 speed automatic transmission with winter/sport modes and Tipshift Function adapts to your driving manner to offer gear changes to suit your mood. A powerful, smooth and effortless driving experience.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The factory fitted seven spoke alloys wheels are original and virtually perfect, still retaining the correct diamond cut out rim which is often surrendered upon refurbishment. The original factory Pirelli P6000 tyres of size 205/55 R15 remain fitted with masses of tread, but due to age it is recommended that renewal is made and these are preserved for originality. The spare wheel is the unused Pirelli P6000 item still showing the coloured banding to the tread. The anti-lock braking system with Brake Assist (BAS) offers absolute stopping power to install complete peace of mind.

HISTORY FILE
First registered on 26th July 2002 by Mercedes-Benz of Chichester, this outstanding example has covered an incredibly low 25,894 miles from new. This top of the range Avantgarde edition was further specified with many desirable factory options, clear was the no-expense spared mentality of the first owner which happened to be the Royal Bank of Scotland! The vehicle V5 document names Royal Bank of Scotland as the first owner, however soon after the much-publicised tax-payer bailout of £45 Billion in October 2008 whereby the then Chief Executive, Fred Goodwin, was later stripped of his Knighthood and partial pension benefits, the Mercedes along with other luxury items owned by the bank was quickly placed into storage. It was deemed deeply unpalatable and inappropriate for such items to remain in ownership considering the government bailout, so in 2015 the Mercedes was offered for sale. The first and only private keeper, Mr Victor Pearce, has now decided to sell the car and thin his collection due to the passing of his wife.

The black leather A5 wallet holds all handbooks, radio guides and dealer literature as well as the service booklet which along with history file records show main dealer and Mercedes Benz specialist servicing. Indeed, the vehicle was serviced solely by the supplying main dealer before and during the bank’s turmoil. Completing the history file is three sets of Mercedes remote keys.

This Mercedes-Benz in desirable CLK320 guise is in outstanding condition and fast becoming a highly regarded modern classic.

Standard Atlas 10cwt Pick-Up

SORRY NOW SOLD – SIMILAR WANTED

An award winning Standard Atlas 10cwt Pick-Up in Shell Service Vehicle livery.

EQUIPMENT
Steel panelled large capacity pick-up body, steel box-section reinforcements, steel tailboard, channelised swaging type goods floor, fastened engine cover, two outside driving mirrors, curved screen with safety glass, forward hinged cab doors, sliding windows, pivoting draught ventilators, large rear window, Vynide bucket seat, P.V.C leathercloth headlining, parcel and spare wheel accommodation, sunvisor, roof lamp with integral switch, passenger footrest (incorporating starting handle stowage). Factory options; Passenger seat, passenger sunvisor, heater, second wiper arm, rear corner bumpers.

EXTERIOR
This delightful Standard Atlas Pick-Up, made in 1959, is a very rare surviving example of the light commercial van and pick-up range introduced in 1958. Like its competitors, the BMC J-Type, Morris J2, Ford Thames and Bedford CA, the Atlas utilised engine and running components from the passenger vehicle within the manufacturers range, in this case the Standard Ten. Finished in the original colour of Pearl Grey, this fantastic pick-up has been recreated as a Shell Service vehicle to amazing effect. The paintwork and period decals are finished to a very high standard and two immaculate oil drums in the goods floor protected by rubber matting complete the look. Attention to detail is superb with all original badges fitted and the trim sections and chrome in brilliant order. With classic commercials vehicles highly sought after and in short supply, this rare Atlas Pick-Up is guaranteed to attract much admiration at shows.

INTERIOR
Amusingly, this example is specified to a high standard with factory options to highlight just how sparse commercial vehicles used to be, where even a passenger seat and second windscreen wiper were extra! The driver and optional passenger seat are finished in Black Vynide washable coverings and are pristine. A reflection of the sparse trim is highlighted by an expanse of painted metal which thankfully matches the Pearl Grey exterior both in terms of colour and excellent finish. Originality can be appreciated in the factory steering wheel, floor mounted headlamp dipswitch, original knobs and the centrally positioned 5” instrument dial. The indicator switch mounted to the steering wheel centre remains fitted but has been bypassed to a column mounted unit. An amusing lack of ergonomic consideration is highlighted by the ignition, choke and starter pull switch located behind the driver on the engine cowl, and the huge wand like gearstick protruding clumsily from the same place! A wonderfully nostalgic place to be with an air of sympathy for van drivers of yesteryear and appreciation for the comforts we have today!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the correct 948cc four-cylinder Standard 10 passenger car engine, as confirmed by the engine code, the power output was quoted at a rather pedestrian 35bhp with top speed of 52mph! The notion adopted by Standard of fitting a small engine for improved economy was compromised by users who found that performance was so slow when fully laden that the engine had to be revved hard to achieve real progress, thus lowering fuel economy. Standard were later acquired by Leyland Motors in 1963 who duly introduced the larger unit from the Triumph TR4 improving the situation considerably. The four-speed gearbox features synchromesh on the top three forward gears, and despite operating perfectly requires some practice and a sense of humour to master!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Disc-type steel wheels with chrome hubcaps are immaculate with very few markings, are all four tyres are matching period Kumho Powerstar Radial tubeless of size 175/80 R13. Braking to all four wheels is hydraulically operated by a pendant pedal with front 9in and rear 8in drums, all in excellent working order but of course fall short of modern standards!

HISTORY FILE
This wonderful example was registered new on 15th September 1959 and very early paperwork suggests the supplying dealer as C. and L. Barter of Golden Springs Service Station in Dorchester with first owner Mr Leslie White of Tolpuddle, Dorset. A period BP Energol Lubrication wallet holds original service charts dating back to 1961 for this vehicle. Research has found that this pick-up was originally supplied in Pearl Grey and painted in protective bitumen when almost new, thankfully keeping rust at bay. In 1980 the vehicle was laid up in a barn where it remained until 1995 when purchased by Keith Oliver. An extensive restoration took place whereby the bitumen was stripped away and the vehicle repainted in his company colours before reverting back to the original colour of Pearl Grey. Numerous show events have been attended since with the pick-up gaining many awards and no less than 18 trophies as well a magazine features. Prominent awards include the Coventry Festival of Motoring Made in Coventry Award, 1st place in Standard National Rally and the Footman James Best Light Commercial.

This special pick-up has more recently been a period feature of the Goodwood Revival Shell Service Station in 2015 and 2017. A history file accompanies the vehicle and includes an original sales brochure, practical maintenance handbook, workshop manuals volumes 1-6 as well as parts catalogues. A VHS tape of the restoration will delight those who still have a video player, and magazine features will suffice for those who do not! A wonderful vehicle reminiscent of Britain’s working heritage.

AMG body styling unique to the SL65 with side air outlets and AMG V12 design twin tailpipes ensure the aesthetics are commensurate with the insane 612hp performance! The Electro-hydraulic Vario roof with expensive optional panoramic glass operates with speed, finesse and micro-precision. An epic performance roadster.

INTERIOR
Sportiness is the dominant theme inside the SL65 AMG with the Alcantara trimmed AMG instrument cluster and windscreen frame, AMG ergonomic sports steering wheel with shift paddles and Keyless Go start button on the gear shifter. Ergonomics and comfort have naturally taken prominent consideration with technological wonderment infused throughout, including the dynamic multi-contour seats in Stone Grey with heating, optional comfort ventilation and integral air cushions with massage function. Said seats are in pristine condition and offer unsurpassed comfort and lateral support. The COMAND cockpit management and navigation display is fully functional and further premium specification attributes include a TV tuner and Bose sound system. The silver stitched leather fascia and trim sections are as new. Luxury, opulence and exhilaration in abundance.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
A true technological marvel is the AMG 6.0-litre V12 bi-turbo engine developing an explosive 612hp and thumping 1000Nm of torque, as quoted in the original Mercedes-Benz UK marketing literature. Expect 0-62mph in a phenomenal 4.2 seconds and an electronically governed top speed of 155mph! The technical specification is simply mind-blowing and raising the bonnet reveals a work of art V12 powerplant which is spotlessly clean, exactly as intended and complete with all factory plates and stickers intact. Start the car and the sound emitted from the AMG two twin tailpipes is guaranteed to set the pulse racing and the spine tingling! The automatic transmission with shift paddles features AMG Speedshift to increase the shift speed by up to 35% in automatic mode. An unmedicated source of adrenalin!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Unique to the SL65 are 19” AMG split rim alloys wheels in Titanium Grey which remain in near perfect condition, whilst premium brand tyres of size 255/35 R19 and 285/30 R19 front and rear respectively have masses of tread remaining. The high-performance braking system feature massive composite discs which have a diameter of 390mm at the front and 360mm at the rear. The huge ornate callipers are prominent through the large spoke openings and remain in the correct silver.

HISTORY FILE
The Mercedes SL R230 Series was designed using the ground-breaking supercomputer in the “CAVE” (Computer Aided Virtual Environment) which allowed designers to meticulously analyse every curve and line. After introduction of the V8 SL55 AMG, Mercedes surprised the industry and press by developing this, the awesome V12 bi-turbo SL65 AMG a year later. This 2005 example has covered just 48,164 miles from new. There are seven recorded service entries in the electrically held records with the most recent carried out by Mercedes-Benz Worcester in September 2017 at 47,229 miles. Both the dealer supplied leather document wallets are beautifully presented and hold all handbooks, guides and point of sale literature. A further large history folder holds supporting service invoices as well as two sets of original remote keys. Completing the history file is a hardback sales brochure and separate price list which reveals an eye-watering list price including options of £151,880!

A headline piece in the world of modern design and engineering, the Mercedes SL65 AMG will always be recognised as a car that raised the bar amongst peers and is destined to be one of the Mercedes-Benz SL greats with increasing collector interest.

EXTERIOR
This stunning SLK230 is finished in the rare and striking colour of Magma Red, (Code 586).  Having covered just 59,010 miles and been cherished from new by only two owners, this garaged example is simply exceptional.  The factory paintwork gleams with a deep lustrous shine and beautiful uniform polished finish, and all factory panels are straight and undamaged.  Even very close scrutineers will struggle to detect anything other than minuscule markings and a few carefully touched in stone chips.  The previous owner since 2005 has preserved the underside components with a careful and light application of Dinitrol treatment.  The electro-hydraulic Vario roof is seamless in operation and the optional wind deflector remains with the car.  Originality seekers will be pleased to see the Mercedes dealer number plates.  Not to be confused with the usual offerings, this pampered SLK is without question amongst the best examples.

INTERIOR
This well appointed two seat roadster features factory optional leather upholstery in Anthracite, (Code 221), which is spotlessly clean and free from wear with firm bolsters.  The fastidious owner routinely fed the leather ensuring it has remained supple and only tiny hairline creases can be seen on the outer driver’s seat bolsters.  Tailored SLK floor mats have preserved the carpets and the headlining to the Vario roof is as new.  All trim sections are immaculate other than some minor lifting to the drivers sill kick plate and the controls and functions operate seamlessly including the Speedtronic cruise control/limiter and ice-cold air conditioning.  Factory stickers remain in the spotless door shuts and inner boot lid, and the luggage area holds the space saver spare wheel, compressor, first aid kit, warning triangle, tool roll and jack, all present and in their place!  Even factory codes remain stamped on the boot floor of this superbly original example.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The supercharged four-cylinder engine displaces 2295cc to develop 193hp at 5300rpm and 280Nm torque output.  Impressive performance credentials are quoted in the marketing literature at 0-62 in 7.5 seconds with a top speed of 142mph, and regular documented servicing has ensured this machine performs at optimum level.  The engine bay is pristine and proudly displays the bright red ‘Kompressor’ rocker cover infill as well as factory stickers, bulkhead chassis stamp and slam panel stamping.  The standard electronically controlled 5-speed automatic transmission operates precisely as it should with positive kickdown and both manual control and winter/sport modes.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Factory upgrade 17” AMG alloy wheels are in outstanding order with no scuffs, and matching Michelin Pilot Sport tyres were renewed in 2016 and have masses of tread remaining.  The anti-lock braking system offers absolute stopping power to install complete peace of mind.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 15th June 1999, the first owner was a Rosamund Marshall who ordered the car through Mercedes-Benz UK and opted for the factory collection in Germany which was offered at the time.  Mrs Marshall enjoyed the car for six years until 2005 when it was purchased by Paul Wilson who has owned it ever since.  The very low mileage of 59,010 miles is fully verified in both the service records and all MOT certificates held dating back to 2004.  The most recent service was carried out in November 2017 and the previous owner has noted the fully synthetic fluid changes with correct brand and viscosity.  The Mercedes document wallet holds the service book with factory build card as well as all handbooks, guides and dealership literature including the post-it note pad!  A further large folder contains the original Mercedes factory consignment records as well as Mercedes main dealer and specialist service invoices.  Two sets of keys plus the remote-control master key card remain with the car and there is an original sales brochure too.

Early, low mileage and cossetted SLK’s are fast becoming hard to find and this exceptional example has optimum credentials and condition to match.

Ford Escort RS Cosworth

SORRY NOW SOLD – SIMILAR WANTED

A desirable Big Turbo Ford Escort RS Cosworth Luxury with 48,429 miles.

MODEL HISTORY
The Ford Escort RS Cosworth was a sports derivative and rally homologation special of the fifth generation Ford Escort. It was designed to qualify as a Group A car for the World Rally Championship.  It was available as a road car from 1992-96 in limited numbers from Ford’s Specialist Vehicle Engineering, (SVE), team.  It combines the hand-assembled engine expertise of Cosworth and the coach-building crafts of Karmann.  In order to accommodate the larger Cosworth engine and transmission Ford developed the car around the chassis and mechanicals of its predecessor, the Sierra Cosworth.  A very rare car with only 7,145 examples being produced and this one of the desirable early 2,500 built for homologation.  (Source Wikipedia, 1995 Edition One RS Brochure and the RS Owners Club).

EQUIPMENT
Body colour front bumper with black lower splitter, louvred bonnet air intakes, wing air extraction grilles, aerodynamic rear wing with lower boot spoiler, electro-luminescent instrument cluster, oil pressure gauge, turbo gauge, voltmeter, quartz digital clock with ambient temperature, delayed courtesy light, map reading lights, glove box illumination.  Factory Options; Luxury Pack comprising of opening rear quarter windows, electrically operated and heated door mirrors, ‘Quickclear’ heated windscreen, heated washer jets, three-spoke leather covered steering wheel, central double locking, tailgate release, lights on warning, rear centre armrest, rear head restraints, sunroof, electric windows.

EXTERIOR
The striking exterior of this Escort RS Cosworth is nothing short of remarkable.  Finished in iconic Diamond White, (Code B2), the paintwork boasts a brilliant shine and uniform colour match between panels.  Early homologation clues such as the exposed petrol cap and larger door mirrors remain fitted.  All exterior trim is in excellent order including the factory original light units.  The chrome on the rear tailgate badges has worn thin on the corners and rubbers are in good condition.  The black lower splitter is undamaged and the underside is very clean with a coating of Waxoyl.  A rare sporting Ford.

INTERIOR
With a majority of components being built specifically for the RS Cosworth this is a privileged place to be.  The Recaro seats are finished in optional perforated Raven leather and are in very good condition commensurate with the low mileage covered.  The cut-pile carpets have been protected by genuine Ford rubber mats.  The comprehensive and sophisticated instrumentation has beautiful dials with black detail on a white background.  A boost control switch, immobiliser and Collins turbo gauge are fitted.  The Ford FD 2007 radio cassette is the correct unit but the CD unit is an earlier Ford item and a led has been removed. Being one of the first 2,500 cars the pristine boot area still has the water injection kit never plumbed in and unused to comply with homologation. Most were removed by the Ford dealer to avoid customer confusion but fortunately this has remained with the car.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The Cosworth YBT Big Turbo engine warrants little introduction and the early Escort Cosworths with the Weber-Marelli engine management, T3/T04B turbocharger and visible blue cam cover are very sought after.  Visual modifications courtesy of Brooklyn Motorsport Spec-R alloy items are fitted along with a K&N cone filter.  Other modifications include uprated fuel pump, cooling system swirl pop and light blue injectors.  The exhaust note through the stainless steel system is glorious.  The standard 227bhp engine enabling a top speed of 140mph and 0-60mph in 5.9secs can be expected.  The permanent Ferguson four wheel drive system with 34/66% front/rear power split mated to a MT 75 5-speed gearbox with a Helix Organic uprated clutch provides precise reassuring changes.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Pristine 8 X 18” Rondell alloy wheels are shod in premium branded tyres with masses of tread remaining.  Ahmed Bayjoo spec springs on standard shock absorbers provide excellent handling characteristics and drilled ventilated front and rear discs with braided hoses offer confident stopping power.

HISTORY FILE
Built at the Rheine Assembly Plant in Germany in September 1992 and registered new on the 7th October 1992 by the Ford Motor Co themselves making this model one of the highly sought after and early 2,500 Big Turbo homologation specials.  A further five former keepers have cherished this example, one of which was Mario Caira, a respected Cosworth racing driver who had this car as his own personal vehicle.  The current custodian, Mr Fitzpatrick, has known the car for 18 years and was fortunate to purchase it in 2004 from a friends mother when the car had a four digit personalised registration number.  This car was her pride and joy with the daily car being a Ford Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth!  Mr Fitzpatrick used the car sparingly and has created a personal memoir of his ownership which includes the vehicle being used at Road Shows to educate school children on road safety and photographs of the car when it was in storage in a Carcoon.  A full service and cambelt change has just been carried out by Harvey Gibbs at Supreme Car Services in July 2018 at 48,413 miles.  All book packs are present including the original service book, old MOT certificates and two sets of keys.
