Finished in Suzuki Superior White, (Code 26U), the paintwork looks fantastic with a bright uniform finish with some cosmetic remedial work undertaken. Light markings are visible but remarkably, the thin factory panels are very straight and damage free, and the common areas with weakness on used and abused examples are entirely solid. The simplistic yet chirpy cabin space will allow for much comedy with a full load of family or friends who will have little option other than to ‘budge up’ snugly! The fragile interior trim and plastics are immaculate, commensurate with the low mileage, and all controls and function operate perfectly. The original vinyl cab floor covering can be lifted easily to inspect the cab floor which is incredibly well preserved, as are the usually rust prone front steps and inner arches. A perfect city people mover!

This wonderful little engine offers simplicity and economy with both front seats easily tilted to allow complete access to the engine compartment with all stickers and plates intact, and the chassis number stamped into the floor. The original jack and wheel brace are correctly stored in the front compartment. The five-speed gearbox has a short throw and is light and precise. A highly amusing driving experience!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The standard 13in steel wheels in factory light grey are in very good order and all centre caps are present, unusual as most tended to fly off on the way out of the dealership! HISTORY FILE
This matching numbers British built Mk1 Morris Mini Moke was produced on the 25th February 1966 and despatched to Italy on the 16th March 1966.  The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate confirms the chassis number, engine number and body number all match, a most unusual and highly sought after aspect in such a car.  The vehicle was discovered by Saverio Fasulo, (the father of KGF Classic Cars company Director, Karl Fasulo), while holidaying in the Puglia region of Italy.  Being a car fanatic himself he heard of a small collection of cars with a wealthy individual in a small and idyllic village called Bovino.  The virtually untouched vehicle was residing with only this second owner from new, Mr Mario Buonassisi, who, after some persuasion agreed to sell it to Mr Fasulo.  On arrival to the UK Mr Fasulo has cherished this rare icon while reminiscing serving his Apprenticeship with BMC and refreshing the car in all areas!

Porsche 928 GTS

SORRY NOW SOLD – SIMILAR WANTED

A formidable and highly coveted Porsche 928 GTS with just 46,238 miles.

MODEL HISTORY
Produced from 1978 to 1995, the Porsche 928 was initially developed as a replacement for the quirky and sometimes difficult to drive 911. However, the characteristics of this V8 Gran Turismo, Porsche’s first production V8 model, were somewhat different to the 911 and direct replacement did not come to fruition. Porsche’s design and development efforts paid off during the 1978 European Car of the Year, where the 928 won ahead of the BMW 7-Series and the Ford Granada. The final and arguably the most coveted 928 models was the GTS as presented here.

EQUIPMENT
2 door 2+2 coupe, aluminium front wings, doors and bonnet, front and rear deformable polyurethane body panels, integral front spoiler, rear boot spoiler, retractable halogen headlamps, front and rear deformation zones, driver’s airbag, heated windscreen washers, high pressure headlamp washers, fibre optic instrument panel, air conditioning with climate control, cruise control, electric adjust to front seats, driver’s memory seat, heated front seats. Factory options; Electric sliding steel sunroof.

EXTERIOR
This late and very desirable 928 GTS is finished in stunning Slate Grey Metallic, (Code L23F), boasting a beautiful deep shine and high polished finish. All panels and large polyurethane trim sections are in excellent order and the factory glass remains with all rubbers and lights in prime order. There is a very small faint paint blemish around the nearside door mirror and another almost undetectable paint imperfection below the nearside rear window. An epic muscular Porsche Gran Turismo.

INTERIOR
The unique interior of the 928, a masterpiece from the Porsche Design Studio, is both functional and wonderfully elegant. The sculptured, anatomically correct seats are trimmed in the original hand-stitched draped leather in light grey, (Code GZ). The upholstery is spotlessly clean and in excellent order with no undue wear or crazing to the hide. The matching colour scheme carpets have been protected from new by expensive Porsche tailored over mats. The fibre optic instrument panel has all elements working perfectly with just some light crazing to the instrument backing. The rear seats fold completely flat to create a spacious luggage area and the pristine boot space housing the original space saver spare wheel with Vredstein tyre and factory jack in the original sheath. Factory build stickers to the driver’s door shut and the factory options code sticker to the boot floor remain, essential for originality seekers. The ultimate GT interior, built to cruise the Riviera!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The powerful heart of the 928GTS is a 5.4 litre, V8 engine. This quad-cam 32v alloy engine produces 350bhp at 5700rpm and maximum torque 500Nm at just 4250rpm. An intoxicating engine soundtrack invokes you as you achieve 0-60mph in just 5.7 seconds and a possible top speed of 170mph, as quoted in the original Porsche marketing literature. Porsche originality aficionados will delight at the clean engine bay displaying all factory plates, stickers and even the original Shell Fuel and Lubrication sticker! Effortless cruising is offered by the 4-speed automatic transmission which operates perfectly with Porsche Dynamic kickdown.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Forged alloy ‘Cup Design’ wheels of size 7.5J x 17 front and 9J x 17 rear are in excellent condition with original Porsche centre caps and only very light markings to the outer rims.
