The beautiful lines and factory panels are perfectly straight with no dings and all trim sections and badges are near perfect. A very faint reaction to the lacquer on the small rear spoiler is notable but certainly does not spoil the excellent appearance. The UV-resistant hood is perfect in operation and fully intact and the glass rear screen a vast improvement over the earlier Perspex fitment. Underside inspection reveals the unspoilt condition and all consumables and the exhaust are in excellent condition. The supplying Porsche Centre number plates remain fitted. An exceptional car in a condition far superior to the usual offerings.
INTERIOR
Typical Porsche quality and exemplary craftsmanship is found in this example that is bristling with a huge factory and dealer optional specification including the incredibly rare Porsche Designer Umbrella tailored to fit in the passenger door pocket! The carpets are spotless having been protected from new by genuine Porsche carpet mats. The massive specification includes the original PCM navigation and telephone systems with BOSE upgraded sound as well as the seat heating, seat memory and climate control. Beautifully clean dual cargo areas contain the untouched tool roll, warning triangle and genuine Porsche screen wash. Originality seekers will note the all-important factory option label attached to the bonnet underside, Mobil 1 sticker to the inner boot lid and factory stickers in the door apertures. Everything arranged according to strict ergonomic principles ensuring supreme driver enjoyment.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the robust flat six Porsche Boxer Engine, this Tiptronic S model develops 225bhp from the 2,687cc unit to allow 0-62mph in just 7.3 seconds with a top speed of 154 mph! The punchy raw sound delivered from the exhaust system is guaranteed to set the pulse racing. The 5-speed Tiptronic transmission with Tiptronic fingertip control operates precisely as it should and suits the car very well.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The factory upgraded 17″ SportClassic alloy wheels have optional wheel caps with coloured Porsche crest. The wheels are entirely free from curb damage. Premium quality Bridgestone Potenza S-02A 205/50 ZR17 and 255/40 ZR17 tyres are Porsche Club GB recommended and were fitted brand new in March 2020. The ABS assisted braking system incorporates 4-Wheel ventilated discs with 4-piston fixed monobloc callipers. The Porsche badged callipers are clearly visible through the spokes and hint towards the racing pedigree infused within this car’s genes.
