A retro super dependable Nissan Micra 1.0 Premium with only 33,846 miles.

EQUIPMENT
Driver’s door mirror, folding rear seats, rear seat belts, opening rear side windows, electronic tune radio, lockable glove box, ‘lights-on’ warning, 3-speed heater fan, heated rear window, cigar lighter, leatherette boot mat. Dealer accessories; Nissan rear mud flaps, tailored Nissan rubber floor mats.

EXTERIOR
This fabulously frugal yet fun Nissan Micra epitomizes everything it was designed for, simplicity and basic economy motoring from a bygone era when even a passenger door mirror and rear wiper were a luxury! Finished in factory bright Polar White, (Code 531), the paint finish looks superb with a bright uniform shine. Light age-related markings and touched in scratches and chips are visible only upon close scrutiny and spoil none of this cars unmolested appeal and low mileage loveliness. The slightly faded colour keyed radiator grille, wrap around bumpers and all trim is largely unmarked and all glass is factory fitment even displaying the ‘OK Nissan’ sticker. The double side coachline and Micra Premium decals are fully intact. Further originality is affirmed with the original supplying dealer plates from our very own local (at the time) AFG Nissan of Peterborough. Resplendently retro.

INTERIOR
Truly astonishing and virtually perfect in condition and function. The Beige seat trim blends with the period brown theme extending to the steering wheel, door furniture, carpets, dash and even front and rear seatbelts! The light brown roof lining is as new and the carpets have been protected by Nissan rubber carpet mats. The original electronic tune radio player with generous single speaker powers on but no sound and all other controls work perfectly. The boot area looks virtually unused with a full bagged tool pouch and factory paint stamp marking on the spotless boot floor. This really is smashing.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Tremendous fuel economy and unfaltering reliability are assured with this clean burn light alloy engine. With 54bhp, a top speed of 90mph is possible and 0-62mph achieved in 15 seconds all while providing a huge grin thanks to the responsive characteristics of this incredible engine. The under-bonnet area is very clean with all stickers and bulkhead chassis number stamping intact. The 4-speed gearbox is light, precise and an absolute joy to use.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Factory fitted steel wheels with delightfully miniscule Micra chrome centre caps are in immaculate order and all branded tyres of size 155/70 R13 show plenty of tread. The spare wheel remains shod in the factory Dunlop tyre. The power assisted braking system with front disc brakes do an admirable job of stopping this car quickly and safely.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 22nd August 1991 by Nissan main dealers, AFG of Peterborough, this car has had just three keepers from new, all local to Peterborough, the home of KGF Classic Cars, and the previous two who are Father and Daughter. The first owner kept the car until 2005 at which time it was part exchanged to a local dealer. Mr Posnett promptly saw the car on their forecourt and fell in love with it, the car at this point having covered less than 5,000 miles. Mr Posnett has kept up annual servicing despite covering low mileage each year with invoices to verify, the most recent being carried out at less than 100 miles ago. The car has been owned ever since by Mr Posnett who in 2010 allowed his Daughter to use the car and decided to register it in her name just in case she gained any speeding tickets!

The handbook, spare keys and a large file of invoices and previous MOT certificates form the history file along with an original sales brochure. Very difficult to find better and such great reliable fun!

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 21st January 2006 by Main Dealers, TC Harrison Ford of Derby, the car was ordered new by Mr Peter Hart, a Ford Master Technician by trade. A lifelong vehicle technician in the motor trade with a huge appreciation for Fords, Mr Hart has previously owned sporting blue oval royalty to include Lotus Cortina’s, Escort RS2000’s and indeed this cars predecessor, a Mk1 Focus ST170. In the history file is the original vehicle order form and subsequent sales invoice made out to Mr Hart confirming the price paid of £18,845 less a part exchange allowance of £10,000 for his Panther Black Focus ST170 which at the time had only covered 11,600 miles! The neatly organised history file includes all the original Ford new vehicle literature as well as the separate welcome pack and special ST supplement. Ever the conscientious perfectionist, Mr Hart even printed out service and maintenance schedules. Another passion of Mr Hart was his self-restored BSA M20 motorbike that was used in World War II which he would take to shows using a small bike trailer. For this a discreet and detachable light duty tow bar was fitted. Upon his sad passing in 2017, the car was inherited by Mr Hart’s son, Darren, who has owned the car ever since. Darren has included a written account of his father’s ownership and devoted care for the car.

The Ford document wallet houses all handbooks, service book, guides and supplements along with the point-of-sale literature. Servicing was carried out by himself in his capacity as a Ford Master Technician and the cambelt was renewed in 2016 at 12,300 miles. The history folder also contains invoices and MOT certificates dating back to the first in 2009 to fully verify the mileage. Both sets of Ford keys, fobs and security tags are present and there is an original 2005/6 brochure for ‘The New Ford Focus ST’. A perfectly preserved and highly collectable Focus ST225 exactly as Ford intended.

Honda C90-G Cub

SORRY NOW SOLD – SIMILAR WANTED

A factory original UK Honda C90-G Cub with an incredible 193 miles from new!

MODEL HISTORY
Introduced in 1958, the Honda Cub/Super Cub has been in continuous manufacture ever since and production surpassed 100 million in 2017 making it the most produced motor vehicle in history. The idea for a new 50cc motorcycle was conceived in 1956 when Honda Motor’s Soichiro Honda and Takeo Fujisawa toured Germany and witnessed the popularity of mopeds. The requirement however for the motorcycle to succeed in the developing world was, primarily simplicity, and larger wheels than those of a moped in order to cope with badly surfaced roads, or indeed non-existent roads in rural regions. Another requirement of Takeo Fujisawa was that the bike could be ridden one handed whilst carrying a tray of soba noodles, siting that the vast numbers of soba noodle shops in Japan would no doubt want one as a delivery bike. The iconic and phenomenally successful Honda Cub series is widely credited for mobilising and in large part, revolutionising the developing world.

EQUIPMENT
Pressed steel underbone frame, 12-volt electrics, capacitor discharge ignition (CDI), polyethylene leg guard/cowling, black long seat, 3-speed clutchless transmission, fully enclosed drivetrain, horn, primary coupled kick-starter, black finish indicator housing, two adjustable mirrors, speedometer, odometer, turn signal switch, headlight switch, neutral indicator, rear footrests, helmet lock, side storage with toolkit. Dealer options; Rickman Type 23 Fairing kit, middle mount luggage rack, Oxford Essential top box.

EXTERIOR
This wonderful 1991 C90-G is finished in iconic Shuttle Blue Metallic, (Code PB121), with Cortina White leg protector faring. Having covered just 193 miles from new, this collector’s example has never been restored and still boasts first paint credentials, virtually unheard of. Markings to the front mudguard and a scratch to the lower faring are entirely forgivable and do not spoil the appearance. All metal is in remarkable shape having never been welded or repaired with the original exhaust only having microscopic pitting and the engine casing slight tarnishing. Stanley indicator lenses remain fitted and the polyethylene leg guard/cowling has no cracks. Factory decals below the seat and original stickers and warning labels will further delight originality seekers, as will the factory badges. The comfortable dual seat black seat covering is also factory fitment with no rips or tears and the toolkit is present in the side locker. All switchgear, lights and instruments are fully functional. This unspoilt C90 is deliciously retro and a fitting tribute to this Honda icon.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The air cooled 4-stroke 90cc engine develops 7.5bhp at 7500rpm enough to keep up with modern city traffic and perfect for the daily commute. The 3-speed rotary system transmission with automatic clutch is easy to use and in perfect working order. Surprisingly nippy and a lot of fun!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Steel rim/wire spoke wheels are pristine and display correct outer rim stampings and are shod in Yokohama 2.50-17 tyres. The tyres have excellent tread and should be retained but being original fitment, if regular use is intended should be changed. Leading/trailing drum brakes stop the bike quickly and safely.

HISTORY FILE
Despite many minor revisions since its launch in 1958, the Honda Cub style and ethos as a bike for the masses has remained constant, and it is no surprise that true iconic status is firmly cemented. This UK supplied C90-G Cub example was registered new on 25th June 1991 by Q.B Motorcycles to Mr J Burford. Being used to the comfort of motor vehicles his experience on his first and only motorcycle was not enjoyed and after a few short commutes the car was soon favoured once more. The bike remained tucked away in his garage for the next 19 years unused before being purchased by bike collector Mr Robin Victor who part exchanged it with Roy Jervis Motor Cycles, renowned for low mileage classic bikes. The previous third owner, Mr Cartledge, purchased it from Roy Jervis in December 2011 and only parted with it to buy a one owner 2001 Harley Davidson 1200C Sportster with 300 miles from KGF Classic Cars!

All handbooks, spare keys and manuals are included along with previous MOT certificates. The original Honda Owners Card and brochure are also present. Everything about these bikes is legendary from their go anywhere ability, phenomenal reliability and even the famously successful marketing slogan, “You meet the nicest people on a Honda”, which ran from 1963 for 12 years and is still used today as a marketing case study. An excellent example of one of the most significant motor vehicles ever created.

Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth

SORRY NOW SOLD – SIMILAR WANTED

A factory original Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth with only 21,523 miles.

MODEL HISTORY
Five hundred extra special examples of the 150 mph Ford Sierra RS Cosworth went on sale in Britain on August 1st 1987. This more powerful ‘evolution’ model was introduced to allow Ford to develop the original limited production run of 5,000 needed to allow the car to be homologated for International Touring Car Racing in Group A. Aston Martin at Tickford were assigned with converting the 500 cars and in addition to the more powerful 224bhp YBD engine, (with the potential to exceed 400bhp in race trim), numerous aerodynamic features were incorporated in the bodywork. These include a 30mm lip spoiler applied directly to the rear edge of the tailgate to increase rear downforce. New and larger cooling ducts were included in the design of the front bumper for the intercooler and the front brakes, as well as an aerodynamic splitter. Ford’s intention was for every RS500 to be finished in Black but limited stock of the regular Cosworths resulted in 56 Diamond White and 52 Moonstone Blue being converted. The vehicle was only available through 90 specialist Ford RS (Rally-Sport) dealers in Britain at a cost of £19,950, a £4,000 premium over a standard RS Cosworth. (Source Ford News Release 87/76). This example is build number 140/500.

EQUIPMENT
Bodyside mouldings, integral front air dam, colour coded door mirrors, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, colour coded lockable fuel filler cap, bonnet cooling vents, halogen headlamps, colour coded bumpers, single plane rear wing spoiler with trailing edge fence, lower tailgate mounted spoiler, tinted glass all round, tailgate wash/wipe, laminated windscreen, central locking, extended centre console, cigar lighter, quartz digital clock, fascia light dimmer, leather gearknob, leather three spoke sports steering wheel, 3-speed heater fan , cassette storage, electronic sound system (model ECU2) with power amplifier, electric aerial, Recaro Sports front seats, tilt and slide sunroof, tachometer with turbo boost gauge, trip recorder, ABS with failure warning light, electric front windows.

EXTERIOR

All exterior trim and lights remain free from damage as does the vulnerable front splitter. The original front screen has delaminated at the edges and there is a mark to the near side front wing. The unique silver coachline and RS500 badges applied to the front wings and tailgate are present and original. The blue Ford oval badge to the tailgate has aged. Date stampings are visible on key areas such as the inner wings and tailgate and even the discreet Ford logo can be seen on the slam panel. The underside is untouched and clean with factory markings all clearly visible. A truly incredible car in an astonishing preserved condition.

INTERIOR
Finished in Ford Roma Grey, (Code S2), the Recaro seats and carpeted door trim are in remarkable condition with no wear or discolouration and completely commensurate with a low mileage pampered example. The driver’s seat bolster still has a soft velvet feel with perfect shape and the carpets are spotless protected by Ford rubber mats. All dials and gauges operate perfectly and show healthy readings and the dashboard is immaculate having suffered no cracks or discolouration. Two small filled holes are visible in the passenger foot-well trim due to a phone cradle having been fitted. The phone kit is listed on the original Ford purchase invoice. The boot area is factory fresh with floor stickers present and the original Ford boot struts no longer hold the tailgate. A fantastic 1980’s interior.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The Cosworth YBD-Series 2.0 litre, 16 valve twin overhead camshaft, four cylinder, fuel injected, turbocharged and intercooled engine which in road use, (as per this example), is tuned to develop 224bhp. Features over a regular Cosworth include a Garrett T31/T04 turbocharger, twin fuel injectors for each cylinder, pressurised oil cooling for each of the engine’s pistons and a larger capacity oil and water pump. Expect 0-60 in 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 153mph. The engine bay is incredible in its originality and condition and boasts all the correct engine and chassis identification numbers. The gear changes are solid with progressive clutch action.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Correct and undamaged factory fitted 15 X 7 inch aluminium alloy (ATS) wheels are shod in Continental 205/50 R15 tyres with ample tread and the spare is the original Dunlop SP Sport D40 205/50 VR15 tyre. Four wheel disc brakes with ABS and a hydraulic booster stop the car with confidence.

HISTORY FILE
This Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth build number 140/500 is astonishing in condition, originality and history. Supplied new by Endeavour Motor Co Ltd on the 7th August 1987 to Mr B Blackwell, the original purchase invoice reveals a price paid £20,295 including an application of Diamond Glaze to the exterior paintwork. The sticker for this application is still attached to the rear screen! With just two subsequent former keepers, the last an avid Ford collector having owned the vehicle since 2009, the history file reveals upmost care and attention with invoices for service work and general maintenance. The last service was in March 2021 to include a cambelt change. The history file also includes previous MOT certificates, a full book pack with original stamped service book, SORN declarations and a Sierra RS500 Cosworth brochure. All keys are present and the previous owner has written his account of ownership during the last 12 years and how he came to discover the car. Remarkable and deserving of a top collection.

Every aspect of the interior is in fact as new, commensurate with the uber low mileage, and all equipment and functions operate seamlessly including the cruise control and ice-cold air conditioning. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
15 inch Ecco five-spoke alloy wheels were standard on the Jamboree Model and all wheels including the rear mounted spare are as new. The tyres are virtually as new and the white size wall writing looks very retro American! Vented front disc and rear drum brakes bring the car up straight and steady.

HISTORY FILE
Often seen as the original 4×4 vehicle, this Wrangler TJ Jamboree traces its roots back to 1941 when the American Army needed a tough and versatile cross-country vehicle to handle the most extreme conditions imaginable. The result was the Willys MB, nicknamed the ‘Jeep’, a name that is now synonymous with these rugged and go anywhere and do anything vehicles. Constantly updated and subtly revised, this allowed the Wrangler to remain in such long-term production and the TJ was applauded for bringing back features found on the original Willys MB such as the round headlamps and distinctive body coloured vertical slat grille. This RHD UK supplied example was first registered by main dealer, Kings Chrysler and Jeep of Cheltenham and Gloucester, on the 15th March 2007. The one and only owner, Mr Lewis, visited the dealership searching for a used Wrangler for his wife. Production of the Wrangler TJ had ceased in July 2006 and as such, Mr and Mrs Lewis were disappointed to find no used Wranglers for sale, this was until they spotted a silver run-out Jamboree Edition tucked away in the showroom brand new and unregistered. A deal was promptly agreed and this example was purchased to join a family of classic cars and motorbikes owned by the Lewis family. With access to other vehicles and Mrs Lewis’ fondness of her trusty Mercedes Estate, the Jeep was dispatched only for high days and holidays and stored in a heated garage at all other times. The history file consists of the original Jeep Privilages document wallet housing the handbook and all guides and dealership literature. A separate folder contains the new car sales invoice, checklist and some previous invoices and MOT certificates. Mr Lewis has written a detailed account of his uninterrupted fondness including everything from the initial purchase experience to maintenance detail. Both Jeep keys and fobs are present. The TJ Wrangler is now highly collectable, none more so than this one owner 2,647-mile example.

EXTERIOR
The Harley Davidson Sportster is a line of motorcycles continuously produced by the iconic manufacturer since 1957. This XL 1200C Sportster 1200 Custom has covered an astonishingly low 316 miles from new with just one owner and is as close to a new machine as you are ever likely to find! The factory original 2-Tone Vivid Black and Chrome Yellow paintwork looks simply stunning against the lashings of mirror finish chrome. The one and only owner specified a plethora of Harley Davidson genuine Sportster accessories and Screamin’ Eagle Sportster accessories from the huge catalogue of additions available. These machines really are a dream to those wishing to personalise their pride and joy! Commensurate with the hyper-low mileage is the condition of this machine with meticulous scrutiny revealing unspoilt perfection throughout. The exposed ‘naked’ construction offers clearly visible factory labels, engine stamping and VIN stamping to the stock. Ride the legend with this as new Sportster.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
At the heart of the machine lays the trusted 1199cc OHC V Evolution engine with electric start and stock carburettor enrichener knob. Engine torque figures are quoted as 87Nm at 3000rpm but a genuine Screamin Eagle high-flow air cleaner kit will see an improvement to this. As you would expect from such a low mileage and cosseted machine, the engine is a piece of ornamental beauty, proudly on display with masses of highly polished chrome, a detailer’s paradise! Firing instantly on the electric start, the bike performs perfectly and has just been to a Harley Davidson main dealer for a service. The transmission with constant mesh works through each of the five gears effortlessly. Exhilarating Baloney cut Screamin’ Eagle II slip-fit mufflers were specified when the bike was new with the factory original mufflers kept should the next owner wish to revert back to stock and a slightly quieter experience!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The ornate Laced front wheel and DOT Disc rear wheel are unmarked with a gorgeous bright and original finish. The factory fitted premium brand Dunlop Harley Davidson D402F MH/90-21 front and D401 130/90 B16 rear tyres have masses of tread remaining. Disc brakes of size 292mm front and rear with two-piston callipers take care of stopping superbly.

HISTORY FILE
The iconic Sportster series from Harley Davidson needs no introduction, and this XL 1200C Sportster 1200 Custom enjoys immense popularity worldwide. This outstanding example was registered on 21 March 2001 by Thames Valley Harley Davidson to the first and only owner, Mr Lewis. The New Motorcycle Sales Order in the history file is made out to Mr Lewis and confirms the extensive list of specified accessories and the corresponding prices. Mr Lewis has owned the bike ever since, for almost 20 years to the day, and the current and original blue V5 document displays zero former keepers. Forming part of a collection of classic vehicles, the bike has covered a genuine 316 miles from new. The original maintenance coupon and record book, owner’s manual, Harley Davidson accessories book and model year 2001 range brochure have all been kept as well as a Sportsters Haynes Manual covering bikes from 1970-2003. Two documented services have been carried out by Harley Davidson Main Dealers, the most recent in March 2021 by Cheltenham Harley Davidson cost of £599.78 and included a new genuine Harley Davidson battery and Ultrasonic carburettor clean. The history folder is completed with the original PDI checklist, a file of previous MOT certificates and both factory supplied keys.

A member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG), Mr Lewis is clearly an avid fan of the marque and this gorgeous XL 1200C Sportster Custom is as close to a ‘new’ machine as you can get.

To climb inside the interior of this wonderfully kept example can be likened to visiting a Nissan showroom in 1996! The exceptionally low mileage is clearly evident and the interior condition is simply outstanding. The sports velour seats in SRi Grey, (Code G), are as new, as are the matching door cards and grey tufted carpets which are still protected by tailored Nissan floor mats. Natural veins to the leather steering wheel and gear knob reflect the low mileage and even the new car smell has not escaped! All equipment and functions operate perfectly including the original Nissan branded Blaupunkt stereo. The boot area is pristine with unused Nissan toolkit still in the vinyl tool roll and full wheel changing equipment in the side cubby is present and unused. This sporting SRi model features the chain-driven 1.6 litre 16v four-cylinder twin-cam engine developing 102bhp at 6000rpm and 136Nm torque at 6000rpm. The spotlessly clean and totally standard engine bay displays factory plates, stickers, under-bonnet labels and Nissan panel stampings. Further originality and garage storage is even found with factory anodised bolts, coloured PDI dabs and factory wax that has survived intact, long lost on many higher mileage examples. The five-speed gearbox is light and has the tight precise feel again only found with such low mileage. The perfect opportunity to experience an unmolested Primera SRi performing at its absolute best.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Five 14-inch alloy wheels are in immaculate condition and originality seekers will be pleased to see the factory fitted Continental Super Contact 185/65 R14 tyres still fitted including the virgin spare. Should the next owner intend to use the vehicle rather than store it is advised that the tyres are renewed on grounds of age. The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) incorporates ventilated discs to the front and solid rear discs to offer assuring straight-line stopping power and has been overhauled including a brake fluid change.

The original Nissan blue document wallet houses the service book with nine stamped entries, the most recent in March 2021 which entailed a major service. The full book pack and all dealership point of sale documentation has been kept as well as even the business cards for staff at the supplying Nissan Dealership. Mr Moore purchased the car in retirement and used it sparingly with strict garage storage adhered to at all times when not in use. In 2011 the car was placed into long term dry storage and in 2021 the car has now undergone a full recommissioning process.
