The Black Gloss to the exterior trim is stunning and contrasts beautifully against the Liquid Yellow with just a few tiny touched-in marks barely visible. The exterior satin chrome door handles are perfect and all glass and light units are crystal clear. A super-clean underside and wheel arch apertures are thanks to an intensive clean carried out in October 2022 to help reflect the low mileage and enthusiast ownership this performance Renault has enjoyed. An outstanding example.

INTERIOR
The hugely desirable factory optional, (Code DRAP19), Renaultsport Recaro ‘Yellow Dot’ front seats priced at £970 when new are amazing both in support and condition. The drivers bolster protrudes resulting in even very low mileage examples suffering from wear, but this car has virtually none, thanks to watchful owners entering and exiting the car with full knowledge of this fact. The sense of occasion and anticipation once in the driver’s seat is quickly felt with features such as the drilled aluminium pedals, start button and everything is spotlessly clean and operational. Renaultsport carpet mats have been fitted from new and the stainless door sills displaying the logo has a slight mark on the drivers side. The door shuts gleam with factory stickers and labels intact. A highly cherished and very special car.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 2.0 VVT 200 engine is a marvel combined in a car weighing just 1240kgs and fitted with the factory optional Cup Chassis to make this example known as the ‘Full Fat’ entity. Performance figures of 0-62mph in 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 141mph are quoted but the thrill is in the track-focused driving dynamics that make this car a must drive. The 6-speed gearbox offers short positive movements to capitalise on the engine power band. Thrilling in every respect.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Factory optional and desirable 17” Speedline alloy wheels in Satin Black are pristine and replace the standard Renaultsport Anthracite alloy wheels to make a feature of the immaculate Red painted Brembo brake callipers. All four corners are shod in premium brand Continental ContiSportContact 215/45 R17 tyres with masses of tread. The standard factory equipment Anti-lock Brake System, (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), has been upgraded with a Performance Friction V3 system brake kit comprising of 330mm vented and grooved two-piece floating front discs, supplied by renowned K-Tec Racing at considerable cost.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new on the 26th March 2012 by Main Dealer, Platinum Renault in Trowbridge, the first owner kept the car for ten months before the second keeper purchased the car again from Platinum Renault as an Approved Used car. The vehicle order paperwork confirms the purchase of this Liquid Yellow example and part exchange of a 2005 Clio 182 Cup, clearly a Renaultsport enthusiast! The beautifully presented history file consists of the full book pack with stamped service book and both Renault key cards. The most recent service was carried out in April 2022 at 25,640 miles and in September 2020 the car was taken to K-Tec Racing in Dorset, a highly respected Renault specialist, for a cambelt, water pump, auxiliary belt and tensioner change as evidenced by an invoice in the history file and stamped entry in the service book. The history folder contains further invoices neatly filed as well as a very detailed schedule of maintenance and servicing. Every MOT from the first in 2015 has been kept to fully verify the exceptionally low mileage. Cherished registration CL10YLW remains on the car and completes this amazing package!

Finished in original DAF White, (Code N3NC), the bodywork has defied the years and the fate of many that have long since disappeared. The factory panels are in amazing condition and the paint finish is uniform and bright. Some age-related cosmetic markings and small dings are visible but this example outclasses its contemporaries by miles. There is some light distortion to the rear bumper corners. The underside has never seen repair work and is free from excess applied underseal to reveal the remarkable preserved state. All glass, lights and un-perished rubbers are intact the optional electric side step operates perfectly. It is difficult to comprehend the existence of a better example!

INTERIOR
The interior of this bus is exactly as it left the factory and amazingly well presented. 17 seats, all with 3-point seat belts, offer fantastic carrying capacity and safety for children with height adjustable seats belts. The seats are in superb condition and spotlessly clean and no tears, with the vinyl to just three rear seats picked away by naughty back-row kids! All interior equipment operates perfectly including the original LDV stereo and the cab trim and fascia is commensurate with the remarkably low 33,501 miles covered. The factory wheel brace remains clipped behind the cab seats and the fire extinguisher and first aid kit are still present. A superb high-occupancy minibus with excellent headroom and space with huge potential for a campervan conversion. LDV doesn’t actually stand for Luxury Divine Vehicle, but it should!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The original Ford Duratorq ZSD-424 direct injection turbo-diesel engine displacing 2402cc as fitted to all post 2002 Convoys develops 88bhp and 210Nm of torque (an increase from 74bhp enabled by the factory optional turbo intercooler) and enough to propel a full load of passengers and their luggage up and down Welsh mountain roads (verified). The robust engine, deemed strong enough to survive the punishment of being fitted in London TXII cabs, operates perfectly and the engine bay is exceptionally clean with factory stickers and labels intact. The study 5-speed manual gearbox feels tight, strong and is effortless to use. A perfect retro tour bus!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
This six-wheel example has the original steel wheels with genuine LDV hubcaps in superb condition. All wheels including the underslung spare wear 185R14C heavy duty LCV/van rated tyres, four of which were fitted brand new in 2021. Servo assisted brakes with discs to front have been overhauled in 2021 and operate exactly as they should.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 28th February 2006, this very late Convoy was one of the final production examples before discontinuation of the model in the same year. The supplying LDV dealership was based in Peterborough, the home city of KGF Classic Cars, and where the van has spent the last 18 months as our very own ‘Fun Bus’! Prior keeper from 2007 to 2021 was the Lionel Primary School in Brentwood, which most likely discovered that the LDV Convoy had been rightly nicknamed ‘the king of the primary schools’ and indeed had won What Van Best Minibus in 2000, 2001 and 2002! KGF Classic Cars purchased the bus in 2021 to be used as a fun vehicle for outings with family and friends. At this point, the bus had covered 29,308 miles and to date more than 4,000 miles have been covered with utter reliability and immense delight – the ‘Fun Bus’ has lived up to the nickname we gave it after just our first outing! A total overhaul and major service was carried out upon purchase to ensure optimum safety and dependability and the bus has completed various trips, including several to North Wales, where mountain roads have been traversed without demur. The ‘Fun Bus’ has captured the excitement of all children (and adults!) within the KGF Classic Cars’ wider family, who will happily ignore far more expensive and prestigious modern and classic cars to go for an outing in the bus – planned trips are eagerly looked forward to for weeks!

The correct Class 5 MOT testing has been upheld in order to allow the bus to be used at full 17 seat capacity and the history file consists of the original handbook and service book, two keys and a full schedule of works undertaken since KGF Classic Cars took ownership. The bus is now ready for a new group of family, friends or even clubs to enjoy what has been a truly dependable and capable vehicle preserved in the very best possible condition. All aboard the ‘Fun Bus’!

The legend began in the Spring of 1992 and this UK example was registered new on the 21st May 1992, one of the first. Full MOT history is offered until the bike was acquired by serial bike collector, Robert James in 2004. His quest to find a standard, early UK first generation SC28 CBR900RR proved virtually impossible until he discovered this machine. Sound, useable and unmolested but not perfect, Mr James authorised George White Motors of Swindon Ltd, Honda Main Agents, to embark on a full rebuild using only genuine Honda parts. An invoice dated June 2004 reveals parts alone totalling £9,680! Once complete the bike remained cherished and displayed until purchased by Mr Burdcok in 2015 to join another formidable collection of iconic greats from early air-cooled RD’s to tiny Honda Monkey bikes and many Raleigh Choppers! Many invoices, MOT certificates and instruction pamphlets included to make this one of the all-time collectable Japanese greats.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 1998cc eight valve four-cylinder SOHC engine is renowned for its lively nature and robust reliability. All lightweight panels are beautifully straight with only a few miniscule marks carefully touched in and barely worthy of mention. The GT hard top comes complete with genuine Honda stand and bag and has a few light storage marks. The original blue hood is in pristine condition which has the improved heated glass screen as fitted to post 2002 AP1’s. The fastidious owner even resisted folding the tonneau cover as she did not want it to suffer any crease lines and so opted to store in the garage when off the car! In addition, when the car was parked in the garage the catches on the soft top hood were left open so as not to stretch the hood material, such was the care lavished on this example! The HID headlights are clear with no discoloration. Honda supplying main dealer number plates remain fitted. All wheel-arch apertures are spotlessly clean and the underside is representative of the amazing credentials with labels and PDI markings clearly visible. This example is certainly one of the finest available.

INTERIOR
Twist the ignition key, then press the start button and the race car ritual begins! The Black sculptured leather sports seats, (Code A), are spotlessly clean with perfect integrity and only slight creasing to the drivers bolster. This car is an ergonomic benchmark governed by function rather than gimmicky looks with almost all of the switchgear within fingertip distance of the steering wheel so the driver does not have to take their hands off the wheel. All digital instrument displays, functions and controls operate seamlessly including the ice-cold climate control and original Honda sound system. Optional Honda S2000 carpet mats remain fitted from new protecting the carpets and the pristine boot area houses all tools.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The compact and lightweight 2.0i VTEC race bred F20C engine, mounted entirely behind the front axle to allow the S2000 to achieve a 50:50 front/rear weight distribution, is a technical marvel. At launch it had the highest specific output ever produced in a naturally aspirated engine, an incredible 120 PS per litre. A power output of 240bhp at an almost unheard of 8300rpm and 208Nm of torque at 7500rpm allows a blistering 0-62 time of 6.2 seconds and top speed 150mph. Factory stickers to the bonnet underside and an immaculate engine bay as well as identification plates, bulkhead chassis stamp and coloured PDI dabs confirm the absolute originality of this amazing example and definitely one for the show goer! The short shift 6-speed gearbox is utterly brilliant and enhances the 9000rpm redline S2000 magic!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Factory standard 16in sports alloys are in excellent order still retaining the factory diamond cut finish and important slight bronze tint. A few spokes have slight hairline marks and miniscule tarnishing to the original Honda centre caps. Premium brand Bridgestone tyres measuring 205/55 R16 and 225/50 R16 front and rear respectively have masses of tread remaining having been replaced. The space saving spare wheel has never left the boot. The anti-lock braking system (ABS) features massive 300mm ventilated front discs and 282mm solid rear discs to offer positive and assured stopping power to cope with the epic performance.

HISTORY FILE
The Honda S2000 AP1 was manufactured up to 2003 at Honda’s Takanezawa plant, alongside the NSX and this prime UK example was registered new on the 1st March 2003 by Main Dealer, Arriva Honda in Bristol. The car has covered a fully verified 22,074 miles from new with one owner and full Honda service history from the supplying dealer, now Bristol Honda owned by the HSH Motor Group. The original Honda wallet holds all vehicle handbooks, guides and dealership point of sale literature and the service booklet contains 17 stamped entries from Bristol Honda. The beautifully presented history file contains the purchase paperwork from when Mrs Evans bought the car new, part exchanging her previous S2000 in the process, and all corresponding Honda service invoices and maintenance receipts. In addition, there is every MOT certificate from the very first in 2006 all of which were carried out by Bristol Honda, (except one in 2009 by Bristol Jaguar!) and no other garages were entrusted with her pride and joy! The most recent service was in April at Bristol Honda at 21,969 miles. Every tax disc until their demise are neatly mounted. Completing the history file is an original S2000 sales brochure and four sets of keys with fobs including the master key with rubber sheath. Remaining precisely at Honda intended and preserved with wonderfully low mileage and full main dealer service history, this pampered one-owner example is a must for everyone wanting a iconic and fast-appreciating modern classic.

Yamaha TZR50 WGP 50th Anniversary Special Edition Recreation

SORRY NOW SOLD – SIMILAR WANTED

A supersport Yamaha TZR50 WGP 50th Anniversary Special Edition recreation.

MODEL HISTORY
To celebrate Yamaha’s 50 years of success in Grand Prix racing, Yamaha created a special edition 50th Anniversary design, based on the red, white and black colour scheme featured on its MotoGP-winning factory bikes. This unique paint was offered for the Yamaha TZR50 along with the Yamaha YZF-R1 1000, YZF-R6 600, YZF-R125, FZ8, and Aerox WGP 50th Anniversary models. This example pays homage to that rare bike.

EQUIPMENT
R-series bodywork in dynamic MotoGP styling, full front faring incorporating windscreen, sculptured side faring, lightweight five twin-spoke alloy wheels, twin headlamps with integrated flashers, integrated seat-tank unit, combined rear wheel hugger and chain guard, black Supersport frame, twin mirrors, front and rear disc brakes, pillion seat with solid rear hand grip, pillion rider foot pegs, side stand, aviation style fuel cap, electronic instrument panel, analogue tachometer, digital speedometer, 13.8 litre fuel tank, CDI with electric starter, engine cut off switch, coolant and oil warning light, neutral indicator, odometer. Modifications; Full recreation of 2011/2012 Yamaha 50th Anniversary model, engine rebuild with 70cc barrel kit and new carburettor.

EXTERIOR
Meticulously built as a recreation of the 2011/2012 Special Edition 50th Anniversary TZR50 which celebrated Yamaha sending its first ever GP riders to compete in the World Championships, this example is finished in the Red, White and Black colour scheme featured on its MotoGP-winning factory bikes. The genuine factory faring panels have been professionally painted in the correct metallic Pearl White with a Racing Red new-old-stock front guard. A brand-new red/black decal kit is fitted along with a new-old-stock Yamaha 50th Anniversary tank badge to fully complete this phenomenal recreation. All mirrors, light clusters, rubbers and other trim are fully intact and LCD display is perfect. The fox-eye headlights are crystal clear and lockable sculptured thin racing seat has a very small repair patch to the lower front edge. Superbly executed, this bike looks simply spectacular.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The original liquid-cooled 50cc unit has been professionally rebuilt using a quality 70cc barrel kit with a new carburettor jetted to suit the increase in capacity. The fully documented works undertaken are vastly detailed with invoices and include a comprehensive set of running in instructions. A key element of the larger 70cc barrel conversion was the removal of the oil pump and tank due to the original unit being too small to suit the larger capacity, a failing on most rebuilds. The oil supply requirements are now catered for by a fuel ratio of 20:1 pre-mix and a running period of 500 miles not exceeding 5000rpm followed by a gradual increase in rpm for a further 100 miles before using full throttle is required. The bike starts immediately and revs cleanly having covered just 25 miles since all works and will guarantee the rider immense fun when fully bedded in! The engine and all ancillaries are very clean and the 6-speed one down five up gearbox performs perfectly.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The racy 17in five twin-spoke alloy wheels in metallic high fleck silver are in pristine fully refurbished order with no damage. Brand new 100/80-17 front and 130/70-17 rear tyres have covered just 25miles and still have the coloured banding and tyre nobbles! The braking system features a 280mm front disc and 220mm rear disc to offer tremendous stopping power.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 1st May 2006, this TRZ50 was supplied from the factory in Grey with Grey two-tone decals. In February 2021 and after extensive searches, the bike was purchased by Mr Moore, a Yamaha collector and restorer of the highest standing whereby his collection of bikes and passion for the marque are very highly regarded. The project to recreate a bike in honour of the 2011/2012 Special Edition 50th Anniversary began and eighteen months later the result is marvellous. Thankfully the love of creating the bike softened the final tally up of costs which turned out to be far in excess of the asking price mainly due to the outsourcing of vital works such as the professional paintwork and the fully documented engine rebuild. Finding a good TZR50 let alone the 50th Anniversary model is virtually impossible and this example could be this missing piece in the iconic R-series line-up!

A top speed of 146mph along with 0-62mph in just 6.6 seconds is enough to embarrass many a performance car with much larger six-cylinder engines. HISTORY FILE
Manufactured in Swindon, England, this is build number R-09630 and the car was first registered on the 24th October 2007. Supplied as a UK car by Main Dealer, Derek Warwick Honda in Jersey, this example has covered just 19,740 miles in the hands of enthusiast Father and Son owners from new. Mr Haslam Senior purchased the car brand new after being so impressed with his three-year-old 12,000-mile EP3 Civic Type R so offered it as part exchange. A copy of the new vehicle order form confirms the price paid of £18,139 for what would be Mr Haslam’s only new car which he chose in Milano Red because it was the launch colour for the FN2 Type R. Upon retirement he purchased a holiday apartment in Portugal and drove his hot hatch on an extended road trip to his home near Lisbon. Upon arrival he decided to pass the car to his son and daughter-in-law who flew out to Portugal and drove the car back through Spain, France and Belgium. Clearly a family of Honda enthusiasts, the car replaced his daughter-in-laws EP3 Civic Type R and sat in the double garage alongside his sons Honda S2000!

All handbooks, manuals and dealership point of sale literature is included in the leather document wallet and there are two original Honda remote keys with code tags and dealer fob. The original service book displays eight stamped entries from Honda Main Dealers and marque specialists, the most recent being in 2021 with less than 300 miles covered since. A further history folder contains invoices and MOT certificates. Completing the history file is an original Honda Type R range brochure and separate price and options booklet. Credentials of just 19,740 miles and two owners make this preserved example difficult to surpass.

HISTORY FILE
The MG RV8 was always destined to become a classic with just 1983 units made reviving a golden motoring repute and celebrating thirty years after the birth of the legendary MGB. This exceptional example spent eleven years with its sole Japanese owner who purchased the car new in 1995. Manufactured in June 1995, the vehicle was repatriated in 2006 with all importation documents and UK registration completed. The car was sold by a Hyundai Main Dealer, T. W. White & Sons of Weybridge, who imported the car from Japan. The first UK buyer was a Mr Maurice Amdur who is non other than a Physic and Clairvoyant to the Stars and for whom a quick search engine explore will reveals his close connection with countless A-List celebrities for many years! Mr Amdur never registered the car in his name and he owned for just two weeks. KGF Classic Cars contacted him to ask why he sold it so soon and he kindly replied in writing stating that he found himself too tall for the car and that it was an excellent car. He went on to say he believes it to be a mistake that he sold it and he would happily speak to a new owner to offer guidance on their future together! The car was subsequently sold to the only UK registered owner, Mr Noel, who has owned it since.

There is paperwork from when the car was in Japan with key information such as dates and mileage translated and there is also a photograph of the original speedometer clock from when the car left Japan displaying 669km/415 miles. The current odometer reads 404 miles totalling 820 miles from new! In August 2022 the car was subject to a full inspection, recommission and major service by classic cars specialists and is now ready to enjoy or preserve as the new owner wishes. Both sets of keys and code tags are present along with the book pack including the service book. An MG RV8 ‘The Marque has returned’ sales brochure is included and cherished registration E3MGR remains with the car. This stunning example is a must for anyone seeking a rare and collectors quality example of MG motoring history.
