EXTERIOR
This outstanding Suzuki Jimny has covered a genuine 1,514 miles from new with just two owners, the first until 2022, and presents in amazing factory original condition. Finished in shiny Silky Silver Metallic, (Code Z2S), the flawless finish is commensurate with the mileage covered by an average car in the space of just a few weeks! All bodywork panels are arrow straight and the spotless underside has a thin layer of preservation wax. All trim sections are as new and supplying Suzuki main dealer number plates and tax disc holder remain. Even factory labels to the underneath of the door mirrors have survived, usually gone after the first few washes! This is an exceptional collector’s example.

INTERIOR
An interior which can justifiably be described as brand new! The snazzy cloth seat trim fabric, (Code GR), is in perfect condition with no wear whatsoever, as are the door cards, carpets and headlining. The first owner specified optional seat covers which have kept the seats as new. The fascia is perfect and all controls and switches have a new car feel to compliment the new car smell! The high driving position of this lifestyle vehicle will suit the tastes of those used to SUV’s but with pure fun of driving replacing the bulkiness of many a car today. This interior is simply astonishing in every respect.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Welcome to the experience of driving a virtually new Suzuki Jimny! The chain driven M13A DOHC displaces 1328cc and produces 80.5bhp and 110Nm of torque. The switchable Drive-Action four-wheel drive system together with the short wheel base, chunky tyres and 190mm ground clearance make this a formidable off-roader willing to embarrass many a SUV of far more cost, not that this example has seen as much as a puddle! The engine bay is spotlessly clean with factory plates, PDI dabs and stickers all present and undamaged. The sturdy 5-speed manual gearbox provides light and precise gear changes.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
This exceptional Jimny has factory fitted 15” steel wheels which are unrestored and in near perfect order with only a few minuscule markings carefully touched in. To the delight of those seeking total originality, the factory fitted Bridgestone Dueller H/T 205/70 R15 tyres remain fitted all round including the full-size spare which is unused and still displaying colour banding and tyre nobbles. The servo assisted braking system is factory standard and with just 1,514 miles usage the discs, callipers and back plates and rear drums are super clean.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new by Main Dealer, Lincoln Suzuki, the car was registered on the 13th August 2003. The first owner used the car as a second vehicle in retirement but mostly kept it garaged due to poor health meaning he would not use it. In 2010 the car was no longer being used whereby it remained in the garage until in 2022 and following the owners passing the car was discovered. Despite the low mileage there are seven stamped entries in the original service booklet with the most recent being in August 2022 at 979 miles which entailed a full program of recommissioning including a major service with all oils, fluids and filters replaced as well as a full safety inspection. In 2022 the car was sold by KGF Classic Cars to Mr and Mrs Halsall who were speechless at the condition upon delivery. Intending on keeping the car long term, the new owners added various Suzuki approved accessories to include a roof luggage module, tailgate ladder, stone deflector, Hella Comet 500 spot lamps and Alko tow bar with electric socket. All accessories are carefully fitted with the protection pads and no drilling to the bodywork should they wish to be removed without trace. The car has coved approximately 500 miles with its new owners and the accessories unused due to Mr Halsall fallen victim to a hit and run driver whilst riding his bicycle. He now struggles to drive a manual car and so the heart wrenching decision to sell has been made.

The original Suzuki document wallet houses all handbooks, guides and dealership literature as well as two sets of keys with code tags and dealer fobs. A separate history folder contains recent service documentation along with Jimny range sales and accessories brochures. Preserved to the highest original order and as close to a new 2003 Jimny as you are ever likely to find, truly outstanding and so much so that Suzuki had to remake it!

The paintwork is utterly incredible throughout with a glossy uniform shine and the correct matt finish to the lower Tempest Grey. All factory panels are pin straight and even the closest scrutiny reveal nothing other than miniscule imperfections, utterly insignificant and left untreated to uphold total factory finish. Originality seekers will be pleased to see supplying Austin Rover dealer number plates and tax disc holder, which even has the 1988 disc still in it! The underside boasts a pleasing absence of excess applied underseal allowing easy inspection of its preserved state. Guaranteed to draw much fascination at any classic car show, this really is very special.

INTERIOR
A virtually showroom fresh interior entirely commensurate with the 6,712 miles covered, this Maestro even retains the nostalgia evoking Austin Rover scent! The Box and Plain Velvet upholstery in Flint, (Code LCG), is wonderfully preserved with taut seats and matching door card coverings spotlessly clean. The carpets are immaculate as is the headlining with no loosening or sagging whatsoever. The glass is factory fitment with all etching and stereo security labels intact. The dashboard has no cracks and all gauges and equipment is operational with the exception of the original stereo cassette which powers up and illuminates but only crackles. All touch points such the steering wheel, gear knob and interior handles show a total lack of wear found only on uber-low mileage examples. A beautiful and deliciously retro interior.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The renown 1.3 litre A-plus engine needs little introduction and is legendary for its driveability and excellent economy, this low mileage example being no exception. The 62bhp feels spirited, is quiet and offers very low maintenance costs. Performance figures are quoted at a top speed of 97mph and 0-60mph in 12.5secs. The unspoilt engine bay is very clean and still has all original stickers, plates and strut top chassis stamp clearly visible as well as factory wax and panel seam sealer. The five-speed gear box is precise and light, a great combination.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Steel rims wearing the correct original full width 13in wheel trims are in superb order with just one trim showing a few markings. Matching brand 155/70 R13 tyres were fitted new in 2019 and have covered approximately 600 miles. The original Dunlop SP6 spare tyre still with coloured banding has never seen the road and sits in a pristine boot area which also has the polystyrene mould with unused jack and wheel brace. The diagonally split dual-circuit hydraulic brakes with servo assistance offer ample stopping power.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 4th January 1989, the supplying Austin Rover Main Dealer was Mann Egerton in Morden, Surrey. The first owner, Mr Norris, cherished the car for 28 years until 2017 and there have been just two further British Leyland Austin Rover enthusiast custodians since. The large history file is neatly presented with invoices for servicing and maintenance dating back to when the car was new as well as comprehensive MOT certificates from the very first in 1992 to warrant the remarkably low mileage. The original owner’s information wallet houses the full book pack including service book as well as both sets of keys with a dealer fob. A sales brochure from point of sale is also included. A full service was carried out in July 2023.

In prized care with British Leyland Austin Rover enthusiasts from new, this example is a rare and preserved part of Maestro history. Gracing classic car shows will always be a topic of interesting conversation and draw many secret admirers!

Lada Samara 1.3S

SORRY NOW SOLD – SIMILAR WANTED

An incredible Lada Samara 1.3S with a miniscule 366 miles from new!

EQUIPMENT
Reinforced chassis, body and suspension, impact resistant bumpers, halogen headlamps, high-intensity rear fog lamps, laminated windscreen, tow hooks front and rear, heated rear window, internally adjustable door mirrors, sound deadening, reclining front seats, front and rear seat belts, courtesy lights interior and under bonnet, safety reflectors in front door edges, cigar lighter, lower fascia shelf, rear folding and removable parcel shelf, fully folding rear seats, radio console.

EXTERIOR
Finding any Lada Samara is a difficult task, although to find one with an astonishing and genuine 366 miles from new, this example is most likely to be the lowest mileage Lada Samara in existence! In factory original Champagne, the paintwork to all factory panels is quite incredible and boasts a uniform finish. The famously crude craftsmanship and somewhat questionable paint finish in some areas is quite amusing and exactly as is left the factory! Some very small touched in chips and marks accrued while in long term storage are visible upon close inspection. Supplying Lada Main Dealer number plates, rear screen sticker and tax disc holder remain fitted. This example is simply as it left the Lada/Proton showroom in 1996, with absolutely nothing replaced or altered. Truly a one-off museum piece and a Festival of the Unexceptional championship contender!

INTERIOR
An interior entirely commensurate with a near delivery mileage car! Functional yet quite comically unrefined, this interior is plastic fantastic! The durable grey cloth/velour upholstery is perfect with no wear or markings whatsoever. The somewhat rudimentary fit and finish embodies the reputation Lada was famous for, yet this example is perfect in every respect with nothing out of place. All functions and controls operate perfectly and the common touch points such as the steering wheel and curiously unergonomic gear knob retain prominent factory veins. The luggage area boasts the flimsiest of parcel shelves, albeit in perfect condition, as well as the load space carpet, unused spare, tool bag and even factory build label still intact. Wonderfully preserved.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 1288cc four-cylinder engine featuring twin choke carburettor and automatic choke set up allows for a top speed of 92mph and 0-60mph in 15.4 seconds. The untouched engine bay has original plates, fragile paper stickers and factory chassis stamp to the strut top clearly visible. The blue HT Leads remain fitted, and all fluids are clean and clear. Even the under-bonnet lamp with fragile cowl is fully intact and operational! Recently serviced to include a cambelt change, the engine is quiet and the 5-speed manual gearbox change feels brand new!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The standard steel wheels wear the original paint with only light markings. The factory fitted Rosava 165/70 R13 tyres with no wear of cracks further uphold the miraculous low mileage originality but renewal is advised should the intention be to use the car. The servo-assisted diagonally split brakes with discs up front have been overhauled and pull the car up quickly and safely.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 28th March 1996 by Lada and Proton Main Dealer, Autobahn of Gravesend, this unrepeatable example has covered a genuine 366 miles from new! The car was initially registered to Motor Vehicle Imports Ltd, the official Lada importer. Subsequently, a vehicle order form and sales invoice are made out to first owner Mr Cairnes who paid £6,395 for the car less part exchange allowance of £1,500 for his 1985 Lada Riva! Mr Cairnes was the devoted custodian of the car until 2014 when he eventually ceased driving. Records in the history file and testimony from the previous owners show that his Polish next-door neighbour then jumped at the chance to purchase the car knowing just how low the mileage was and how well it had been cared for.

The burgundy Lada Samara document wallet houses the full book pack including service book, dealer point of sale literature and two sets of keys. Some previous tax discs and unused Green Flag stickers are also present. The car is fully serviced and ready use should the next owner wish including renewal of the cambelt in June 2023. There is even a Lada Samara range brochure in the history file!

An almost inconceivable survivor, guaranteed to steal the show at any classic car event.
