EXTERIOR
The ultimate evocation of nostalgia for the Max Power Generation is this amazing Ford Orion Zetec Turbo which has been the subject of full magazine features in both FastFord and Performance Ford. This stunning Orion is finished in deep cherry red having been subject to a full repaint in 2014. The paint finish is uniform with a deep shine while the critical eye will note some signs of wear in particular cracks to the paint on the front bumper and rear spoiler, very light paint blebs throughout visible only on close inspection and some dings. The sunroof is fully operational and all glass and light fittings are intact. The underside is very solid with no structural issues. The car looks fantastic and is very highly regarded within the retro Fast Ford community and Orion Register.

INTERIOR
A somewhat purposely understated interior with subtle hints towards the epic power specification this Orion boasts! The upholstery is courtesy of an Orion Ghia Injection including seats and doors cards and front RS Turbo Recaro seats professionally re-upholstered to match. The seats are in good condition and the huge bolsters to the Recaro’s firm and unworn. The carpets and headlining are clean and genuine Ford rubber waffle mats are fitted front and rear. The dashboard is free from cracks and the retro Fast Ford attributes include Infinity speakers with sub and neatly fitted oil and boost pressure gauges. The RS 4-spoke steering wheel looks superb. Perfectly comfortable and usable with some delicious 90’s themed features!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The engine has been professionally built and mapped to a huge specification by renowned Harvey Gibbs Cosworth Specialist of Supreme Car Services in Peterborough. The previous owner of 13 years, Pete, was adamant the car would be driven and enjoyed yet was insistent on longevity and the reliability of an everyday car. His primary goal was to ensure the car took him without demur to Ford Fair each year and to never be one of the bonnet-up classic Fords seen in the traffic jams approaching the Silverstone event! To this end the engine speciation is capable of huge power increases yet is currently Dyno-Tested at around 200-220bhp, still more than twice the original output from what started life as an Orion 1.3L! Putting this power down is through an RS Turbo LSD gearbox. A totally exhilarating driving experience and utterly dependable.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Compomotive MO5 7½ x 16″ alloys wheels are in very good order and wear 195/45 R16 Toyo Proxes performance tyres with masses of tread. Sapphire Cosworth front brakes with braded hoses and RS Turbo rear drums are well capable of harnessing the increased engine power.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 15th December 1989, this Ford Orion began life as a humble 1.3L of which it remained until around 2010. The previous owner of thirteen years, Pete, purchased the car as a weekend toy and project car to go alongside his daily transport, a 1988 Orion 1.8 diesel! Over the past thirteen years Pete has embarked on a mission to build the ultimate Orion Turbo for which his efforts have won the car multiple page features in both FastFord and Performance Ford. The build has been fully documented and a photo album shows the car throughout the various stages up to the present day and the full specification is carefully recorded. The comprehensive folder of invoices, photo album and magazines are included in the history file and the cost to create this retro car is beyond belief!

Not meeting the usual KGF Classic Cars stock profile in terms of condition one credentials and a wide deviation from standard, but not detracting from the cars overall excellent attributes, we are offering this example for sale on a part exchange to clear basis. The car looks superb and performs as such and represents huge Max Power nostalgic fun. There are two sets of keys. Full inspection and test drive is welcome.

Cain Esq, purchased the vehicle and paid £1,401 as evidenced by the original order form, sales invoice and payment docket which remarkably have all been kept! Mr Cain loved the Dormobile for 30 years with strict dry storage and dry day usage was paramount and there is even a detailed maintenance log spanning from 1979 to 2000. On recommendation from a friend and fellow Volkswagen fanatic, the second owner approached Mr Cain in 2001 and agreed a deal to buy the vehicle and found that it was every bit as original and incredible as he as been promised. In the hands of the second owner for 19 years, there has been just one change of keeper since.

A vehicle history file makes for wonderful perusal and includes the service record, handbook and very rare VW diagnostic coupon booklet! A Volkswagen Camper and Commercial magazine feature from 2014 featuring this Dormobile not only covers six pages but is also even the centre fold poster! HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 27th November 1989 by Volkswagen Main Dealer, Karmann in Barnet, this example is a very early car on a G prefix registration. This Nugget Yellow example has covered just 68,570 miles from new and has been enthusiast owned throughout. In 2010 the car was purchased by Karl Fasulo as he was in the process of launching KGF Classic Cars and the opportunity to buy the car back 13 years later is an emotional experience. Reminiscent of the days when he and his partner Rosie, now wife, would travel the country in the evenings after work to find unique classic cars in order to set up the business, this Corrado holds very special memories. The car was subsequently sold to the Chairman of the VW Corrado Club of Great Britain who owned two other examples. The following and most recent owner was indeed the Founder of the club, so the car has enjoyed very passionate and knowledgeable ownership! Respect and admiration in many Concours D’Elegance judging events is evidenced in the large history file with judging score sheets and there is also magazine and classic car newspaper publications whereby this actual car has been used as the benchmark for buying guides.

The original V.A.G grey document holder contains all the owner’s manuals, instructions pamphlets and dealer literature as well as the service book. The large service history file contains many main dealer invoices and all recent MOT’s have been carried out by VW with accompanying Health Check lists. A video of the latest Health Check confirms by the Master Technician that it is, ‘the best he has ever seen’. The most recent service was carried out using genuine VW parts in May 2023 and the cambelt was changed in July 2023. Two keys are present and a sales brochure. One of the best.

Renault Alpine A610 Turbo

SORRY NOW SOLD – SIMILAR WANTED

A collectable 1/67 RHD Renault Alpine A610 Turbo with only 3,797 miles.

HISTORY
Jean Rédélé was the youngest Renault Dealer in France and launched his first car in 1954, naming it after the classic French road trial. The A106 had early success in the Mille Miglia Road Race and was the beginning of a fruitful mutual partnership between Alpine and Renault. With continual rally success by 1968 Alpine had been allocated the whole Renault competition budget and opened a new assembly plant in Dieppe. Iconic cars including the A108, A110, A310 and GTA/A610 were hand built there but high assembly costs and low demand, (due to the cost when new), only 818 A610 Turbos were made when production ceased in 1995, of which just 67 were RHD. The Alpine factory remained open building cars such as the Clio Williams and RenaultSport Spiders and in 2017 the Alpine marque was relaunched with an all-new A110.

EQUIPMENT
Impact-resistant reinforced lightweight composite body, integrated side skirts, front and rear spoilers, aerodynamic flat underbody, pop-up halogen headlights, twin exhausts, 6-speaker stereo system, air conditioning, power steering, one-touch electric windows, turbo pressure gauge, multi-function trip computer, dash rheostat, electric heated door mirrors, folding rear 2+2 seats, leather-bound sports steering wheel. Dealer Accessories; Fire extinguisher, Alpine carpet mats.

EXTERIOR
The sleek lines and painstakingly designed details of the Alpine A610 combined with carefully-honed aerodynamics result in a stunning supercar appearance. Finished in sensational Metallic Aspen Blue, (Code 543), the glossy shine is perfectly uniform and all decals and badges are present. Alpine enthusiasts will note two uniform lines spanning the roof from right to left exactly factory correct and lost on a repainted less original examples. All glass, rubbers and wheel apertures are as new. Having covered delivery mileage until 2006 and now with only 3,797 miles, this really is as perfect as it gets.

INTERIOR
The ergonomically-designed ‘Petale’ sports seats finished in special order Blue Leather, are immaculate and along with the rest of the interior, commensurate with the amazingly low 3,797 miles covered. All dials, gauges and electronic displays function perfectly including the heater fan on all speed settings but the radio does not turn on. The instrument binnacle still has the plastic protective cover attached and Alpine carpet mats are fitted. The leather-bound sports steering wheel with the Alpine Blue logo has no wear. A common issue with this model and its predecessor, the GTA, is the headlining which has not dropped on this example. A very exclusive, hand built and rare environment.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Under the bonnet and engine compartment is incredibly clean with all stickers, plates and labels still attached. Even factory PDI paint dabs are visible. The light alloy 2975cc ‘PRV’ V6 engine equipped with an electronically controlled Garrett T3 turbocharger produces 250bhp which is enough to propel this Supercar to a top speed of 165mph and 0-62 in 5.7secs. The 5-speed aluminium alloy gearbox performs faultlessly.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Fitted with instantly recognised 16in Turbine alloy wheels shod in Toyo Proxes tyres all-round measuring 205/45 ZR16 front and 245/45 ZR16 rear. Front and rear ventilated discs with Bosch 5-sensor ABS brakes stop this supercar quickly and safely.

HISTORY FILE
A remarkable and privileged history. This example was a special order RHD vehicle manufactured on the 11th March 1992 and registered on the 11th June 1992, as confirmed in writing by Renault UK Ltd. It was produced along with 28 other RHD cars in 1992 and just 67 RHD cars in total, (Source: Renault Alpine Owners Club). Immediately delivered to a wealthy Renault Franchise Owner in Singapore where it resided in his private Renault collection with delivery mileage only. Arriving in the UK in 2006 having been sourced by Radford Racing who also purchased a Red LHD delivery mileage example from the same collection. The magazine adverts in Classic & Sports Car when both cars were advertised for sale are included in the comprehensive history file along with the dealers original advert. Sold to the Alpine enthusiast, Mr Mike Vorndran in May 2007, the Sales Invoice reveals the purchase price of £19,000. Mr Vordran subsequently booked the car into Renault Slough and paid £1,384 to replace the instrument cluster and convert from Km/h to mph. At the point of change the instrument reading was documented at 602km or 374 miles. Mr Vordran has continued to cherish the car and the history file is neatly presented with a vast number of invoices to prove the mechanical wellbeing and nurtured upkeep along with all previous MOT certificates to verify the mileage. The vehicle has attended numerous Renault Alpine events and is well known and highly respected in the Renault Alpine Owners Club. This rare car is presented with two keys on Alpine leather key fobs, all handbooks and the original black Alpine leather pouch. Also included are workshop manuals and period magazine features. Last sold by KGF Classic Cars in 2018 with 2,518 miles we are delighted to have back probably the best, lowest mileage and most original Renault Alpine A610 Turbo in the world.
