Two models launched to celebrate Jaguars ‘60 Years of Sporting Prowess’ and the end of XJS production prior to the launch of the XK8 model, the Jaguar XJS 4.0 2+2 Coupe and Convertible have always been highly collectable Final Edition examples. The final six-cylinder cars were designated the ‘Celebration’ model with the V12 believed to be on special order only, and there were only 5,490 Celebration cars produced according to the book, ‘You and Your Jaguar XJS’, by renowned Automotive Writer Nigel Thorley.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The revised 4.0 litre AJ16 engine with twin overhead camshafts and a lightweight alloy cylinder head housing four valves per cylinder offers 238bhp and 382Nm of torque. Power and refinement is guaranteed with 0-60mph despatched in 8.0 seconds and a top speed of 145mph. An entire standard and original engine bay will delight the enthusiast keen to appreciate the mechanical craftsmanship and show circuit. HISTORY FILE
Supplied new on the 15th May 1995 by Jaguar Main Dealers, H.A.Fox of Southampton, this unrepeatable example has covered a genuine 12,218 miles from new with just two owners, the second of whom since 1999. A new vehicle sales invoice for £41,591.41 is made out to first owner, Mr R Fraser, who owned the car until 1999 when the car was traded back into the supplying dealer. The second owner, Mr R Barber, purchased the car from H.A.Fox in November 1999 at which time the car had not even reached 8,000 miles. There are even photos kept of the car in the showroom taken as a memento! The history file is every bit as spectacular as the car with 16 Jaguar stamped entries in the service book from the supplying dealer, H.A.Fox. Two Jaguar document wallets hold the service book and all handbooks and point of sale literature. Mr Barber has owned the car for nearly 25 years and the condition and ongoing preservation is a credit to his ownership. A huge and beautifully presented leather-bound folder with pewter plaque bespoke to the car is simply amazing and holds a detailed maintenance log, all corresponding Jaguar main dealer service invoices and every MOT certificate dating back to the first in 1998. In September 2024 the car was taken to a Jaguar Specialist for a major service including gearbox oil, fuel filter and brake fluid as well as a brake overhaul. One for the discerning enthusiast and collector, this stunning example is without question one of the finest examples in existence with a history file to match.

Even the octane sticker to the inside of the petrol flap remains fitted! All chrome bumpers and trim pieces are intact and boast a brilliant shine. Fortunately no imitation parts here with the factory fitted Hella headlamps and Hella rear lamps in perfect condition. The underside is excellent and has never been welded, almost unheard of for a Beetle! A delightfully humble and unmolested example of a motoring icon.

INTERIOR
The original black leatherette interior is spotless with all seats and matching door cards fully intact and remarkably free from wear. The factory fitted padded steering wheel with Wolfsburg crest is pristine, as is all other fully functioning controls and switchgear, even the dealer fitted Radiomobile push-button stereo! The factory sticker to the inner glovebox lid remains and the headlining is clean, fully intact and displays only very light discolouration around the rear seams. The front luggage compartment displays factory plates and stickers and houses the original spare wheel still feeding the pneumatic washer system, a system sadly often removed in favour of an electric washer pump. Remarkable.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The matching numbers standard air-cooled rear mounted engine produces 52bhp from its 1285cc displacement enabling a top speed of 78mph with the unmistakable Beetle engine note delightfully pronounced but completely unobtrusive. The engine bay is amazingly clean, exactly as Volkswagen intended and incredibly original. Even the now arguably primitive Volkswagen diagnostics plug remains fitted! The original pressed steel wheels are in superb condition and dressed in immaculate chrome half wheel covers which are original items rather than inferior aftermarket fitment. Brand new and period correct Vredstein Sprint Classic 155 SR15 tyres were sourced from Vintage Tyres in October 2024 at considerable cost. Fully overhauled in October 2024, the dual circuit drums front and rear operate freely, offering modest yet perfectly adequate stopping power when compared to modern vehicles, exactly as they were made!

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 13th October 1972, the supplying Volkswagen Main Dealer was Walter Scott Ltd of Pavillion Road, London. This incredible Beetle 1300 has covered a genuine warranted 55,882 miles from new. Only very rarely does a classic car come with such an amazing history file, which in this instance begins with the original service booklet containing the supplying dealer stamp plus a further 40 stamped entries from 1972 to October 2024! Each entry records the date and mileage to fully verify the authenticity and illustrate the cars continual enjoyment throughout the last 52 years. Furthermore, a huge history folder is beautifully presented with many previous MOT certificates and specialist invoices for service and maintenance work. All original handbooks, guides, warranty book and dealership literature have been kept along with two sets of keys and an original sales brochure. Even the VW Diagnosis Punch Card Booklet with the original build sticker is present!

Sold by KGF Classic Cars in 2018, the car has since remained with the same owner and kept garaged. Attendance at the annual pilgrimage for Volkswagen enthusiasts, the Tatton Park VW Show, saw the car earn runner up prize in the ‘Beetles from 1968 on’ category at the 2023 event. A feature in Classsic Car Weekly dated March 2008 is full of glowing praise. A car that has thankfully evaded the modifiers, neglectful owners and scrappage schemes to now remain one of the best unmolested examples available with amazing supporting history.

The Passion Red paintwork, (Code KJFB), is showroom fresh and the famously lightweight panels are pin straight with no dings or markings whatsoever. Further amazing originality features are the supplying dealer number plates, tax disc holder and dealer rear window and Citroen Total stickers. INTERIOR
Surprisingly comfortable! The reach and rake adjustable seats are trimmed in 50/50 Bonzai Cloth/Grey Vinyl and in typical French fashion are super soft, just like the suspension! The seats are flawless. Genuine C15 tailored rubberised floor mats protect the pristine carpet and absolutely all trim, door cards, headlining and switchgear is as new. All functions and controls operate perfectly. The real wow factor is the rear load space which appears to have never carried anything, ever! There is not a single mark or scratch to the load floor, side walls, bulkhead or roof. Even PDI markings have survived. This example defies belief in its utter perfection.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This C15 Champ is powered by the DW8B diesel engine displacing 1868cc and producing 60hp at 4600rpm and 105Nm or torque at just 2500rpm. This reliable diesel engine immediately jumps into life once the pre-heat warning light is off and the wonderfully agricultural engine note is hugely nostalgic from the days when diesels were indestructible! The engine bay is amazing and reflects the incredible low mileage this van has covered with all plates and stickers intact as well as super clean sound insulation and even the brake servo shroud still in one piece! Weighing just 945kg, the performance is lively and the five-speed gearbox is sturdy and tight.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
This delightful C15 Champ has perfect unmarked steel wheels with factory fitted full width wheel trims. The original Michelin 155R 13 MX tyres have been retained for posterity but branded replacement 155/80 R13 tyres are fitted for safety. Hydraulic dual-circuit self-adjusting brakes with servo assistance grip the front discs and rear drums very well. A load sensitive brake limiter valve is fitted to minimise the risk of rear brake lock-up.

HISTORY FILE
Truly astonishing. Supplied new on the 2nd March 2001 by Freeborn Citroen of Southampton to Mr Andrew White of Guildford. The Hire-Purchase Agreement reveals a price paid after interest charges and an APR of 17.2%, of £7,866. Shortly after purchasing and with only 250 miles, Mr White had to park the van in his secure communal garages while he recovered from an operation. There it remained for 12 years surfacing only for its first MOT in 2012 with 270 miles. After three years and now with 281 miles in 2015, Mr White was not able to continue driving and the vehicle was parked up again until 2022 when he sold it to a good friend due to the announcement that the communal garages were to be demolished for development. His friend decided to sell the van and wanted to get it back on the road so took it to a local mechanic where the third and final owner, Mr Medlicott, purchased it before any mechanical works were carried out. Despite his best intentions of wishing to preserve the van with minuscule miles, temptation eventually won Mr Medlicott over and after two agonising years of admiring it, the van was fully recommissioned in June 2024 and he drove it 3,300 miles! Thank goodness guilt quickly set in and the decision to sell the van to KGF Classic Cars was made! All handbooks, service book and manuals within the grey Citroen folder are present. INTERIOR
Trimmed in luxurious Shadow Olivia cloth, (Code LE), with matching door panel inserts, the specialist materials unique to the Ghia model are very clean. The seat material is unworn and retains perfect shape. The coloured keyed cut pile carpet has been protected by genuine Ford rubber ‘waffle’ floor mats from new and the conscientious previous owner even had a plush carpet mats set tailor made to fit over the top of the rubber set! All switchgear and gauges are functional including the original ECU2 stereo with optional power amplifier and graphic equaliser. There are no cracks or warping to the dash plastics and the headling is undamaged. The boot area is immaculate including the spotless boot floor and spare wheel well. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 1.6 litre OHC (CVH) MFi 4-cylinder engine features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and produces 104bhp allowing a top speed of 115mph and 0-60mph in 9.3 seconds. This example drives brilliantly and the standard exhaust system emits the instantly familiar CVH rasp! The engine bay is original and clean and retains all factory plates, stickers and labels. The five-speed manual gearbox is a joy to operate with a positive shift and perfectly weighted clutch movement.

The iconic Orion Ghia Injection ‘Pepper pot’ alloys wheels are an instantly recognisable representative of 1980’s sporting Fords, and those fitted to this example are pristine throughout costing an optional £239.43. A brand new set of premium Uniroyal RainTyre 185/60 R14 were fitted in August 2024 and originality seekers will be pleased to see a correct set of period Pirelli P600 tyres that come with the car. The factory spare tyre has never been used and still showing colouring banding to the tread. The diagonally-split dual line servo assisted braking system with front discs and self-adjusting rear drums are further aided by the factory optional ABS.

HISTORY FILE
Factory records confirm the car rolled off the production line on the 1st May 1987 and was subsequently supplied by Main Dealer, Woking Ford and registered new on the 26th August 1987. The car has covered a verified 30,120 miles from new and remains in stunning unrestored condition. The previous owner, Mr Morgan, purchased it from a club member after extensive searching and for nostalgic reasons. His late father had an identical one brand new and once acquired the personalised registration number was put on it and outings with his mother were enjoyed visiting all their family holiday destinations.

A comprehensive file of invoices and MOT records warrant the low 30,120 miles which accompany all handbooks and the service original book with 19 entries. The most recent service was carried out in September 2024 and a cambelt change is documented in 2021 at 28,302 miles. The car has never had a recorded MOT advisory which speaks volumes for its ongoing cossetted existence! Two sets of keys are present with fobs including a working torch key! EXTERIOR
The ultimate 1970’s and 80’s young boys dream is the Puch Magnum X, a lightweight and fully automatic play bike with a simplistic and robust 48.8cc 2-stroke 1-cylinder engine. A very original bike with the white paintwork being available on 1974-1981 examples. The original frame, forks and rear arms are undamaged with only light age-related markings and the stock sticker with frame stamp remains bright and easily legible. The original paintwork and decals to the tank are incredible and the original side shrouds have been painted to correct standards. The factory seat covering with Puch and Magnum X lettering is has no rips or tears and the front fork mounted speedometer is still intact, remarkable considering most were knocked off upon first crash! Deliciously retro!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
A simplistic and robust 48.8cc 2-stroke 1-cylinder engine powers this young petrolheads dream! A power output of 3.5hp at 7000rpm propels this lightweight 83lbs bike along nicely assuming the rider falls within the maximum 98lbs weight limit. After a period of dry storage, a recommissioning process has taken place in September 2024 with fresh pre-mix fuel and 2-stroke oil to correct 50:1 radio and full carburettor rebuild kit. First kick of the starter and it jumps into life eager to provide endless fun! The automatic gearbox and engine kill switch operate as they should. The engine casing and ancillaries are in super condition with the original engine number stamp clearly visible. Perfect for the budding BBC1 Junior Kick Start competitor who is able to travel back in time to 1980-1992 when the programme aired!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The original Sanremo Italian made chromed rims and spokes, 14in to front and 12in to rear, are unrestored and bright with some light pitting. The date stamps are clearly visible. The ultra knobbly Cheug Shin moto-cross tyres have plenty of mud-plugging life left in them and the internal expanding shoe brakes do a fine job of stopping this dirt bike.

HISTORY FILE
The Puch Magnum X is a machine built with the best of what Puch gained throughout nearly a century of experience in the manufacture of motorcycles and is specifically meant for use by children. This very original one owner example is dated as a 1978 build as denoted by the stampings to the wheels rims, one being August ‘78 and the other November ’78, and also confirmed when purchased from the original owner. The owner purchased the bike for his young son as a Christmas present for him to use in the large grounds of their property. The young budding Junior Kick Start rider has enjoyed his Magnum X for 843 miles so it has thoroughly enjoyed, yet the original and undamaged condition clearly shows it has been very well looked after. Having outgrown it, the bike was dry stored for a number of years. Now fully recommissioned and in superb working order ready for the next lucky youngster to enjoy, no matter how old you might be!

Little introduction is needed for the engineering wonderment that is Honda’s legendary naturally aspirated engines and their phenomenal capabilities, and the chain driven K20Z4 i-VTEC in this FN2 Civic remains in factory standard form. From just a 2.0 litre powerplant, Honda engineers have developed an incredible 198bhp with the VTEC system engaging at 5400rpm and maximum power output at an awesome 8200rpm! A top speed of 146mph along with 0-62mph in just 6.6 seconds is enough to embarrass many a performance car with much larger six-cylinder engines. A spotlessly clean, functional and period Vauxhall interior is sure to delight fans of the Griffin badged cars! The original Matlock Velour trim in Blue, (Code 111), is in very good order with no rips or worn bolsters. The matching colour keyed door cards and headlining are pristine, and the fleece carpets are preserved. Prominent natural veins to the steering wheel and gear knob are an obvious trait of such a low mileage example. All controls, switch gear and displays function except the radio. The immaculate boot floor has the factory insulating panel, PDI chalk scribe and the original polystyrene moulding holds the jack and wheel brace. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This Cavalier GL features the desired 2.0i 1998cc OHC four-cylinder engine with automatic choke developing 115bhp at 5200rpm and 175Nm of torque at 2600rpm. Registered new on the 31st January 1989, this exceptional example has covered just 20,868 miles from new and was one of the very first MK3 Cavalier’s sold on a F prefix registration plate, the new model only having been launched three months prior. The car was supplied directly from leasing company, Jessups Fleet and Commercial in Romford, and was believed to have been ordered for the wife of a wealthy businessman. At roughly a year old the car was sold as an approved used car by Gates Group Ford to the second owner who kept the car until 2020. KGF Classic Cars sold the car to a collector in 2021 and we are delighted the car has found it’s way back to us, ready for the next lucky owner to appreciate.

The original Vauxhall vehicle literature pack contains all handbooks, radio guide and dealership point of sale paraphernalia along with the service book with eight entries, and all servicing and maintenance is fully up to date. Two keys are present including the original working Vauxhall torch key and there is even an Edition No 1 Cavalier range brochure from 1989! Ford Puma 1.7i 16v

MODEL HISTORY
Towards the end of 1993 a group of designers from Ford’s Small and Medium Vehicle Centre were invited to present ideas for an exciting new coupe based on the Fiesta supermini. The Puma was the first small coupe Ford had ever made. By adding stiffer suspension, wider front and rear tracks, a close ratio gearbox and a brand new Yamaha-derived 1.7 litre engine, the team produced a car for the enthusiastic driver. The Puma was launched in March 1997 and hit UK showrooms in the July. It was an instant hit with the motoring press and its New Edge design language and the iconic television commercial featuring Steve McQueen and scenes from the film Bullitt helped its trendy image.

EXTERIOR
This extremely early car rolled off the production line on the 1st July 1997, the very month the Puma was launched in the UK! In addition to the kudos of being such an early car, and one of the oldest remaining in existence, further amazing credentials include one owner from new, 17,476 miles and total originality. The factory optional paintwork in very rare Cuirass Metallic, (Code J5), presents beautifully with a highly polished uniform finish. Incredible for a Puma, the sills, underside and wheel arches are original with no repair work undertaken and only a few marks, a true testament to the garage storage from new. Even the one-piece Ford exhaust system remains fitted! The one and only owner remarked that the car has only ever been a weekend toy and has never seen rain! Supplying dealer branded number plates and rear screen sticker remain, and all trim, glass and lights are immaculate. Almost unheard of in this condition.

INTERIOR
The first Puma’s offered just one option for trim and upholstery to the two front sports seat, twin rear bucket seats and matching door trim which was Alchemy Blue with Silverstone fabric trim, (Code VS). The interior throughout is quite incredible and could almost be described as showroom condition. The upholstery is pristine with no visible wear, as are the door cards, carpets and headlining. The Puma mats front and rear remain fitted and the conscientious owner even placed two further sets of mats over the top of them! The fascia with the aluminium surround is as new and all equipment, controls and gauges are seamless in operation, even the air conditioning is ice cold. As good now as it was in 1997!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The utterly brilliant Puma’s 1.7-litre Yamaha-derived unit was the first Ford to use variable camshaft timing, (VCT). The power delivery is incredibly flexible and energetic with 85 per cent of peak torque being available at just 1500rpm. The air induction system is tuned for a raspier sound and combined with a free revving engine this power plant is immensely rewarding. The engine bay is totally standard, spotlessly clean with all plates, labels and stickers intact. The sublime close-ratio sports gearbox is precise and perfectly weighted. Weighing just 1,039kg, this is a real driver’s car and was able to upstage far more expensive sports cars when launched.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Distinctive ‘Fan Blade’ 6x15in light alloy wheels are unrestored and in remarkable condition with no kerb damage and just a few miniscule chips visible only upon very close scrutiny. Correct Pirelli P6000 tyres in size 195/50 R15 have excellent tread remaining. Servo assisted with vented front discs, anti-locking and Electronic Brake Force Distribution provide safe stopping power.

HISTORY FILE
A June 1997 built car, this example rolled off the production line on the 1st July, as confirmed by obtained Ford factory records, making it one of the UK month of launch cars. The car was supplied by Ford Main Dealers, Doe Motors Ltd of Witham in Essex, and date of registration was the 1st August 1997, the first day of R registration. Only a tiny handful of R prefix Puma’s remain today. The first and only owner was a Mr and Mrs Southgate who are named on the single owner V5 and purchase documentation including the new vehicle order form and sales invoice confirming the price paid of £15,331.92. The car has only ever been used as a dry use weekend car and strictly garaged at all times, and the pampered existence the car has led is clearly evident and a credit to the owner.

A full service was carried out in September 2024 using genuine Ford parts and a cambelt change was also carried out in September 2024 at main dealer, TC Harrison Ford in Peterborough, with supporting invoices and service book entry. There is a neat folder of invoices and every MOT from the first in 2000 to fully verify the incredibly low mileage. Further insight into the true enthusiast ownership is the owner’s membership of the Puma Drivers Club with all collectable Ford produced magazines kept. The only owner has provided a letter for the history file explaining his fastidious upkeep. There is also an Edition 1 1997 launch brochure and separate collector launch booklet. The original service booklet, owner’s manual, radio guides and associated point of sale literature remain in the Ford wallet, along with both keys and dealer fob. A special piece of Ford Heritage, a must have for the Ford collector.

INTERIOR
Inside this white-hot Ford are four body-hugging Recaro-Style sculptured seats in light grey Alcantara with blue fabric/black leather side bolsters, (Code KX). RS logos to the front and Recaro logos to all four seats are stitched into the back rests with no notable wear. The interior of this low mileage example is exceptional throughout with door cards, floor covering and headlining perfect. The only owner resisted the urge to remove the cellophane wrap to the door sill plates to ensure perfect preservation. All equipment, controls and gauges are seamless in operation. There is no visible wear to the common touch points and when you sit in the outrageously supportive bucket seats and push the Ford Power start button, there is no mistaking this for an ordinary Focus!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The thumping 2521cc Duratec RS five-cylinder engine with Ti-VCT (twin independent variable cam timing) and Borg Warner K16 turbo-charger develops an impressive 300bhp and 440m maximum torque. Top speed is 163mph and 0-62mph is dispatched in just 5.9 seconds. The unmolested engine bay is very clean and complete with factory stickers, labels and PDI dabs.
