HISTORY FILE
This fantastic example of Ford’s first RS Fiesta was supplied by Ford Main Dealers, Skipper of Burnley on the 1st August 1991 to a Mr John Fle of Oldham. In his care for an incredible 20 years until 2011 the MOT certificates reveal minimal annual use and purely for pleasure weekend fun being his pride and joy. Sold to the only other recorded owner, Mr Fleming, a Ford fanatic who mothballed the car when having covered just over 10,000 miles. The car had an MOT in 2013 at 10,539 miles and in June 2018 with 11,314 miles it was treated to a full service, recommission and cambelt. Supplied with all handbooks, service book and a full complement of keys and even an old ford remote fob. An A4 folder contains old tax discs, MOT certificates and some invoices along with a new car sales brochure and specification rear view mirror hanger. With a short production of just two years from 1990 to 1992, prior to the introduction of the Fiesta RS1800, this represents a truly rare RS Ford with this example undoubtedly being one of the best, unmolested examples in existence.
