A sensational launch colour Yamaha YZF-R1 with one owner and 1,993 miles.
MODEL HISTORY
Born from MotoGP, the Yamaha YZR-M1 gave inspiration to the 2009 YZF-R1. The visionary behind the M1 was that much of the technology that Valentino Rossi and his fellow Yamaha MotoGP riders developed on track would ultimately be used by Yamaha’s Supersport Project to create better motorcycles for the street rider. A vital combination of Yamaha’s Art of Engineering and Art of Racing philosophies saw the use of some of the latest embodiments such as the crossplane crankshaft and YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Controlled-Throttle). Technology that has seen Rossi win seven MotoGP World Championships and countless MotoGP race wins, the YZF-R1 uses more of this technology than any previous R1.
