EXTERIOR
This amazing example finished in Metallic Starburst Silver, (Code KLO), is truly worthy of the ‘time warp’ accolade.  The paint finish is fantastic with a bright pure shine, and hallmarks of a vehicle having covered just 14,345 miles from new with one fastidious private owner are clear to see.  Preserved trim sections, decals and items such as the original supplying dealer number plates and ‘Ok Nissan!’ sticker remain in place, as does all factory etched glass and Nissan light fitments.  Close scrutiny reveals a few very minor paintwork imperfections including a light scratch to the offside front wing, and some faint markings to the black plastic bumpers.  Wheel arch apertures and the underside are both very clean.  Hugely nostalgic and virtually impossible to find in this unspoiled state, this is one for the Nissan fanatic!

INTERIOR
To climb inside the interior of this wonderfully kept example can be likened to visiting a Nissan showroom in 1995!  The exceptionally low mileage is clearly evident and the interior condition is simply perfect.  Grey Woven L seat trim, (Code K), is as new, as are the colour scheme grey vinyl door cards and carpets which are still protected by tailored Micra rubber floor mats.  Natural veins to the steering wheel and gear knob reflect the low mileage and even the new car smell has not escaped!  The boot area is simply immaculate and the thin plywood spare wheel cover is as new.  The tool roll is present and unused.  A wonderfully sparse interior from a far simpler motoring era, you are definitely ready for the show scene with this lovely modern classic Nissan.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the frugal 1.0L 16v four-cylinder DOHC engine developing 53bhp, the engine starts with a flick of the key and is wonderfully smooth and quiet with the instantly recognisable Nissan hum.  The oil is clear and golden and all fluids are clean.  The well-presented engine bay is unspoilt and displays factory plates, stickers and panel stampings.  The five speed gearbox is light and has the tight precise feel only found on such low mileage examples.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The standard steel wheels feature the original half wheel covers in good condition and remain fitted with factory Dunlop SP3 155/70 R13 tyres.  Originality seekers will be pleased to see the factory fitted tyres, which whilst retaining plenty of tread, renewal is recommended due to age.  The unused spare Dunlop SP3 tyre still displays the coloured banding, chalk marks and tyre sticker!  The braking system incorporates discs to the front and offers reliable straight-line stopping power.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 28th April 1995 and supplied by Evans Halshaw Nissan of Reading, this amazing Micra has covered just 14,345 miles from new with one private owner.  Registered by Evans Halshaw as a dealership demonstrator, the one and only private keeper, Mrs King-Farlow, bought the car when it was just eight weeks old as has owned it ever since!  Used sparingly as a second car, the Nissan was always garaged.  Such was the legendary reputation for reliably, owners of these Micra’s were often tempted to neglect servicing as they never went wrong!  However, it is certainly not the case with this example as the original service book contains 19 Nissan main dealer stamps, the most recent entry being at 14,204 miles and accompanied by the service check sheet boasting a full complement of ticks and green indicators.  Completing the history file is the complete book pack in the plastic Nissan wallet, two keys with dealer keyring and an original sales brochure.  Representing a humble aspect of modern Nissan history, this useable and beautifully preserved classic is without doubt one of the best examples in existence.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on 1st March 1999 and supplied direct from Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd, this amazing Almera GTi was registered as a company demonstrator before being purchased by the first private owner, Mr Dennis Allsopp, at eight months old.  Mr Allsopp was fanatical about his pride and joy and kept the car until February 2010 whereby the second and only further keeper, Mr Laurence Barber, has owned it ever since.  Having covered just 24,877 miles from new, this low long-term owner GTi is possibly the best surviving, original and unmolested example remaining.

The comprehensive history file is beautifully organised and presented with the original stamped service book accompanied by the complete book pack in the plastic Nissan wallet, two keys with remote fobs and an original sales brochure.  There is a large folder of Nissan main dealer and specialist invoices as well as every single MOT certificate from the very first in 2002, all verifying the low mileage with absolute certainty.  Furthermore, the first long term owner, Mr Allsopp, subscribed to the paid-for Mobil 1 Track Record maintenance program whereby only the premium grade oils were used for service requirements.

Dare to be different with this super-rare Almera GTi, you will almost certainly be the only one at car shows!
