The brilliant pure paint finish compliments the cars sporting styling cues perfectly and the impeccable presentation clearly reflects the cars low mileage enthusiast owned credentials. This incredible example is absolutely factory standard and unmolested, thankfully having escaped the modification and quest of ever more bhp plagued by most. Guaranteed to excite aficionados for the marque close inspection will reveal minor touch-ups to the front bumper. Original supplying dealer plates and tax disc holder further emphasise just how unspoilt and unaltered this car is, again confirming its appeal to appreciative collectors. Simply stunning.

INTERIOR
Peer into the cabin of this factory original example and the bold bright red Recaro front seats catch the eye instantly. These fantastic sporting seats hold the front seat occupants absolutely firm, even upon spirited cornering! Only very minor creasing to the fabric on the driver’s seat outer bolster can be seen and the contrasting rear bench in black is as new, along with all other interior upholstery and trimmings. Once positioned securely and safely, the lightweight titanium gearknob, leather bound wheel with red stitching and optional sports pedals hint towards the excitement in store. All switches, knobs and dials function correctly and the fascia is pristine. Hondas focused and near obsessive desire to save weight has resulted in the removal of sound insulation in some areas and even the transmission dampening. Factory stickers remain in the door shuts and the numbered badge 00196 still proudly on display as it left the factory. Wonderful.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Honda’s innovative Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control System (VTEC) unit optimises torque at low rpm and horsepower at high rpm. Incredibly the precision tuned naturally aspirated 1797cc engine produces 190bhp and 178Nm torque with the VTEC switchover point and resulting power peaks occurring at 8000 and 7300rpm respectively. Hondas uncompromising approach even extends to the inlet and exhaust manifold ports, hand polished to achieve a smoother, faster gas flow. This process adds an extra 25 minutes to each engine for the craftsman! Expect a top speed of 145mph and 0-62 dash in just 6.7 seconds, guaranteed with a permanent smile on your face! The five speed gearbox is light, exact and perfectly tuned to capitalise on the engine power bands and the acoustically tuned exhaust system evokes an arousing howl. An epic experience.

The distinctive 15in light alloy wheels finished in matching Championship White are in fantastic dazzling order with no damage or scuffs. Factory correct quality Bridgestone Potenza 195/55 R15 tyres have excellent tread remaining.
