The E30 M3 debuted at the 1985 Frankfurt motor show.  Produced at the Milbertshofe factory in Munich with the drivetrain assembled by special teams and the chassis thoroughly reworked by BMW Motorsport in every significant area.  The only reason for this iconic vehicles birth was to allow BMW to compete in Group A racing where a minimum of 5000 road going examples had to be built.  These vehicles are therefore incredibly similar to the successful competition versions.  Only 1512 European Spec 215 BHP examples were made, (Source BMW M Registry), of which fewer than 300 are genuine UK supplied versions making this offering a rare and privileged opportunity.

A tiny stone chip to the bonnet is barely noticeable.  All the correct M3 insignia remains intact and the delicate plastic boot lid and rear wing are unblemished.  This car is a real crowd stopper.

INTERIOR
Cosseted, protected and covered help explain how this interior is faultless.  Finished in half leather Silver Cloth, (Code 0380), the M3 sport seats offer superb body support at all times.  The leather has been fed regularly.  Arched around the driver, the accurate clear instruments, switches and levers are in just the right place and fully operational.  No marks anywhere with perfect door cards, anthracite headlining and carpeting which has been protected by genuine BMW carpet mats from new.  The electric windows and sunroof operate smoothly and digital readouts are unbroken.  The BMW glove box torch does not work. M3 ergonomics, crafted items and attention to detail create an ambience of a high performance sports car.
