EXTERIOR
The legendary M cars from BMW need little introduction and this wide-bodied and muscular Z3 M Roadster is no exception.  Finished in factory optional Estoril Blue Metallic, (Code 335), a somewhat signature colour for performance M cars and a firm favourite for enthusiasts, the paintwork looks stunning.  The uniform finish is superb and only light age-related touched in front end stone chips and some small scratches can be seen.  The factory fitted headlamp plastic lenses display very light markings and the original optional three-layer soft-top in Dark Blue cloth, (Code 391-Dunkblau), remains tight displaying some small nicks to the outer fabric.  Factory stickers in the door apertures and inner boot lid affirm this as an unmolested example, and features such as M Roadster tread plates and the two twin polished steel tailpipes remind you this is no ordinary Z3.

INTERIOR
Remaining precisely as BMW intended is the delightfully 1990’s BMW interior.  The Nappa leather upholstery in matching Estoril Blue/Schwarz Black, (Code Q6ES), is clean and fully intact with firm bolsters.  Hairline creases and some colour loss to the driver’s outer bolster are visible.  Famous M styling notes are visible such as bright red/blue M Sport stitching to the leather M steering wheel and M emblem on the chrome line gear knob still illuminating red when the lights are turned on.  The dashboard is perfect with fully functioning equipment including the heated seats and factory optional cruise control.  The original BMW Business stereo system is supplied with the car.  Originality seekers with be delighted to see the factory supplied compressor, full toolkit, first aid kit and the BMW Tyre sealant bottle still in the plastic packaging.  Even the small felt jack locator sticker is still attached to the boot carpet!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
‘Never-ending acceleration all the way to the horizon’, the words of BMW in the marketing literature.  BMW’s legendary and time proven inline six-cylinder engine displaces 3201cc with a power output of 321bhp and 350Nm torque to achieve 0-62mph in 5.3 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155mph.  The spotless and unmolested engine bay displays factory plates and stickers.  The five speed manual short throw gearbox is light and precise.  Crouching low with a wide stance, the perfect configuration for the tremendous power offered.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Mighty 17-inch M RoadStar alloy wheels with BMW centre caps and M badges are in excellent order with only very light markings.  Matching premium Dunlop tyres have plenty of tread remaining and are size 225/45 ZR17 front and 245/40 ZR17 rear.  The ABS braking system comprises of compound version M disc brakes to the front and inner-vented rear discs all replaced along with new pads in May 2019 to offer superb stopping power.
