EXTERIOR
This range topping Z4 3.0i Roadster finished rare Merlot Red Metallic, (Code A02), looks stunning with the deep paint finish boasting a wonderful polished shine.  Thorough inspection confirms the superb condition of the bodywork with no scuffs or anything other than miniscule scratches.  All trim sections and crystal-clear factory optional Xenon lights are as new and BMW main dealer number plates are fitted.  The underside and all wheel arch apertures are beautifully clean.  The original black hood is in excellent order and operates seamlessly.  An early and beautifully preserved example of this Anders Warming design classic, and indeed a modern classic in the making.

INTERIOR
Luxurious Beige Oregon Leather, (Code LAAB), wraps around the seats which are supportive, comfortable and perfect for both long distance touring and enthusiastic cornering.  The electric memory seats with optional three stage seat heating operate seamlessly, as do all other functions and controls including the BMW Professional navigation and audio system encompassed in the retractable pivoting 16:9 monitor.  The high-quality materials and brushed aluminium to the elegant sculptured fascia are in fantastic order, as is all switchgear and unworn sports leather steering wheel.  The carpets are clean having been protected from new by genuine BMW over mats and the pristine boot area contains the unused tool roll and a BMW rucksack once containing all the cleaning products.   A preserved and ergonomically superb interior.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Displacing 2997cc, power output is quoted at 231bhp at 5900rpm and 315Nm torque at 3500rpm, and performance figures are impressive at 0-62mph in 6.2 seconds with electronically limited top speed of 152mph.  Under bonnet splendour is guaranteed as the area is spotlessly clean, exactly as it left the production line with all correct stickers and identification plates in place including the build date plate.  The expensive factory optional 5-speed automatic gearbox features Driving Dynamics Control (Sport Mode) and operates perfectly offering a blend of rapid acceleration and relaxing comfort.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Factory optional Composite Star Spoke 18in alloy wheels are pristine having been subject to an expensive two-tone professional refurbishment and the genuine BMW centre caps are as new.  Recent brand new Pirelli PZero tyres of size 225/40 R18 and 255/35 R18 front and rear respectively are fitted, as recommended by BMW Car Club GB.  Such is the minimal use, the tyres still have the small nobbles to the edge!  The high-performance braking system featuring Cornering Brake Control (CBC) is everything you would expect of this ultimate driving machine, powerful and safe.

HISTORY FILE
The under-bonnet factory build plate confirms this early example was manufactured in September 2003 at the Spartanburg Plant, USA.  Supplied new by BMW Main Dealer Specialist Cars Ltd of St6evenage on the 23rd October 2003, a BMW print out reveals the huge specification resulting in a price when new of £36,175.  The original BMW leather wallet houses all handbooks, guides and dealership literature as well as the service booklet.  There is also the Approved Used Car folder when sold again in 2007 by the same BMW Main Dealer.  The most recent service entry by BMW Main Dealer, Soper of Lincoln, was carried out at 38,611 miles and the Condition Based Service indicator (CBS) confirms the next service is not due for 11,950 miles.  A large file contains BMW Main Dealer invoices and corresponding BMW health check sheets with green indicators, evidencing no less than 12 visits to a main dealer.  Further invoices and all previous MOT certificates are held within the history file along with two BMW keys plus the master key blade.  A fabulous opportunity to purchase one of the best low mileage examples available.
