SORRY NOW SOLD – SIMILAR WANTED

A curvaceous Porsche 911 Carrera 4S with low owners in prime condition.

MODEL HISTORY
The decision to combine the powerful naturally aspirated engine with the potent lines of the 911 Turbo is a successful formula proven with the iconic and highly desirable M491 Supersport.  Lowered suspension, widebody streamlined aerodynamics, revised integrated spoilers, a braking system derived from the 911 Turbo featuring red brake calipers and generous Turbo Look II wheels all form part of the package.  Introduced in 2002 with the major facelift upgrade of the 996 and phased out in 2005, this is a highly sought-after modern classic.

EQUIPMENT
Retractable rear spoiler, occupant side impact protection, airbags, Porsche Stability Management, digital speed indicator, automatic climate control, trip computer, integrated cup holder, orientation lights, steering rake adjustment. Factory Options: Sports exhaust system with standard exhaust pipes, heated seats, rear window wiper, 4-way electrically adjustable memory seats, top-tinted windscreen, park assist, Bose sound system.

EXTERIOR
This impressive 911 is finished in Seal Grey Metallic, (Code L6B4), and is virtually flawless thanks to pampered low owner care.  The car is totally standard without exception and key model features such as the distinctive red wideband reflector and titanium coloured 4S logo on the engine cover are pristine.  Sill mouldings have been shielded by clear protection film to maintain the excellent appearance.  Original dealer supplied number plates help prove the originality and all panels remain free from dings and scuffs. The factory fitted front screen with the optional green top-tint has a few tiny marks.  Truly impressive in every aspect.

INTERIOR
The stylish interior of this 911 4S is finished in desirable Black Leather, (Code AH), with all working controls in matt black enhanced with a range of aluminium-coloured details.  Standard on the 4S is the switch panel finished in luxurious matching leather and Porsche logo carpet mats have been fitted from new.  The classic five dial instrument cluster with the tachometer in the centre is perfectly clear and all door shuts and luggage areas are factory fresh with stickers still attached, including the bonnet identity sticker.  The full colour Porsche crest on the sports steering wheel is vibrant an only a small mark to the unique Carrera 4S kick plate to the passenger side is visible.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The flat-six 3.6-litre all alloy engine thumps out 320bhp and 370Nm of torque, enough to propel this machine to 62mph in 5.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 174mph.  The optional switchable sports exhaust system is harmony to the ears!  Impeccable service history and a detailed engine bay will please the fastidious keeper.  A desirable six-speed manual gearbox with a recent clutch and dual-mass flywheel combined with intelligent four-wheel drive provides strong, seamless acceleration.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 18inch Turbo-Look II wheels are virtually unmarked and display the unique and discreet 4S logo on all four wheels.  All four alloys are shod in premium Bridgestone Potenza 225/40 ZR18 front and 295/30 ZR18 rear with ample tread.  The braking system, with new pads and discs fitted in February 2017, is derived from the 911 Turbo featuring red brake calipers and internally vented and cross-drilled discs providing formidable stopping power.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new by Porsche Centre Sutton Coldfield on the 25th November 2003 this remarkable example has only had two former keepers from new.  The first custodian, Mr Emmett, owned the car for 11 years and with full Official Porsche and Porsche Specialist service history the mileage of 68,797 is warranted.  All invoices and a fully stamped service book are included and reveal important works carried out such as complete clutch assembly and flywheel along with the rear main oil seal.  With the last major service carried out at 67,691 miles in August 2016 the next scheduled visit will be in August 2018 or 87,691 miles, helping to ensure peace of mind. All handbooks, spare keys and manuals are present and contained in the black leather Porsche wallet.  A sought-after modern classic and one for the Porsche enthusiast.
