This beautiful MG TF sports car is finished in vibrant Trophy Blue pearlescent (code JFV).  The original factory paintwork boasts an incredible bright shine and wonderfully preserved finish.  The panels are free from corrosion and just two miniscule dings to the nearside can be seen only at certain angles.  All trim sections are remarkably well kept and fully commensurate with such a low mileage and well cared for garaged example.  A very faint localised paint blemish on the rear bumper is visible upon close inspection only.  The supplying dealer number plates, manufacturer badges and Union Jack wing plates remain present.  The immaculate durable woven acrylic fabric blue hood is effortless in operation and the plastic rear screen is clear and free from crease marks.  The rear tonneau adds the finishing touch and the expensive rear wind deflector enhances the occupant’s journey experience immensely.  The beautiful from any angle styling of the MG TF is displayed to the highest order with this example, one for continued preservation and enjoyment.

A snug yet hugely comfortable ‘Ash’ cockpit offers real sports car appeal and open top motoring delights.  The supportive sports seats are trimmed in sumptuous black leather with contrasting red piping and MG emblem embossed into the head restraints.  The soft leather is in remarkable order owing to such low use and only a tiny section of cracking to the red piping is noticeable on the driver’s seat.  The door cards and black carpeting are spotless adhering to such cosseted ownership and little use.  The flawless dashboard houses fully functioning switchgear and the silver faced dials and chunky leather trimmed steering wheel accentuate the sporting nature.  A beautifully cherished and exceptionally well preserved example.

The original four cylinder 1796cc engine produces 136bhp at 6700rpm and 165Nm torque at 5000rpm enabling a top speed of 127mph and 0-60 in just 8.2 seconds.  The mid-mounted engine and rear wheel drive configuration displays all the correct sports car credentials to ensure optimum driver delight and smile as a standard feature!  A spotless engine bay and luggage compartment are a pleasing sight to any car detailing enthusiast!  The short throw sports ratio five speed gearbox completes the package with snick and precise changes.

The factory optional Sports Pack 2 sixteen inch multi-spoke alloy wheels are shod in brand new 215/40ZR16 tyres all round.  The spare wheel is wrapped in the original unused matching Goodyear item with the tyre nobbles and coloured chalk marks still visible.  Minor scratches to the outermost rim on two of the wheels are only very minimal.  The factory upgraded braking system incorporated with the Sports Pack 2 option features electronic anti-lock assistance and discs all round (ventilated front) to offer positive stopping power.

Supplied new by MG Rover Main Agent Kerridges of Suffolk on 12 April 2002, this outstanding MG TF has had just two former keepers.  A new car sales invoice illustrates a purchase price of £18,970 including factory options; Sports Pack 2 £850, Chrome Pack £175, front fog lamps £175, pearlescent paint £345.

The remarkably low 21,211 miles are fully supported by the original stamped service book including the all important head gasket replacement and cambelt carried out recently at 20,149 miles.  In addition, absolutely every MOT certificate carried out and a vast collection of service receipts provide a clear insight into the hugely cherished ownership and regular maintenance this example has enjoyed, regardless of the low miles covered.  The original handbook and two keys with working remote fobs complete the fantastic history file.

An unspoiled and prized MG TF, wanting for nothing and ready for open top entertainment!
