This stunning Porsche 968 Coupe is finished in factory optional Tahoe Blue Metallic (code L37C).  This special order paintwork at a cost of £1,305.97 when new has maintained a spectacular bright and vibrant shine.  The beautiful finish to the paintwork is remarkable with only tiny faint chips having been touched in on the boot lid and around the driver’s door handle.  The factory panels are beautifully straight with uniform gaps, and all glass, lights and trims sections are immaculate.  A tiny area of crazing to the paint near the rear number plate is evident upon very close inspection.  The original supplying dealer plates, tax disc holder and rear screen sticker uphold the brilliant originality of this very special example.

The delightful interior colour scheme of this 968 Coupe simple screens 1990’s!  The vivacious design of the Cobalt Blue and Multicloth seats (code CP) compliments the exterior finish brilliantly.  Commensurate with the incredible low miles covered, the seats are absolutely pristine and completely free from wear.  The matching colour scheme carpets are spotless having been protected from new by tailor made Porsche overmats, with the logo.  The Cobalt Blue colour finish dashboard and all associated switchgear is perfect with all functions and controls operating exactly as Porsche intended.  The factory fit Blaupunkt Bremen stereo cassette (Model SQR 49) remains in situ along with a period mobile phone holder.  A beautifully preserved interior, lovingly cherished by this Porsche’s one and only keeper.

The Porsche VarioCam in-line 16-valve water cooled unit with DME digital fuel injection displaces 2,990cc and develops in impressive 240bhp at 6200rpm.  The engine is wonderfully smooth and performs exactly as Porsche intended, owing to the fastidious care and maintenance throughout its lifetime.  A top speed of 156mph and 0-62.5mph time of 7.9 seconds is effortlessly achieved.  The Tiptronic dual-function transmission with five gear shift modes ranging from economy to high performance offers both fully automatic and manual shift options for all driving moods.

The 16in pressure cast alloy wheels in Cup Design are in immaculate condition with only the front nearside rim showing a very faint area of touched in scratch repair.  These beautiful wheels are shod in quality branded tyres of size 205/55 R16 front and 225/50 R16 rear, all with masses of tread remaining.  Powerful ventilated and perforated discs all round with four piston callipers and anti-lock assistance (ABS) offer outstanding performance under even the most spirited driving. 

A truly brilliant history and supporting file befits this incredible car most aptly.  Supplied and registered on 13th August 1992 new by Porsche Main Agent, Rivervale of Hove, the first and only ever keeper being a Mrs Rosemary Eastwell of Burgess Hill.  A new car sales invoice and order form illustrates a purchase price of £42,524.09 including optional extras; special metallic paintwork (£1,305.97), extended cloth to door trims (£184.82), alarm vent switch (£216.65), top tinted windscreen (£67.32), electric sunroof (£611.98), full climate control (£1,917.94), radio equipment (537.32).

Every original manual, service booklet, radio guide and option books are enclosed in the correct Porsche black leather wallet.  The service booklet has a complete host of main dealer and Porsche Specialist stamps to fully document the remarkably low 40,989 miles covered, the most recent entry being only 200 miles ago by renowned PBM Technical Services in West Sussex.  A further immense history file contains every invoice and receipt to fully support the service stamps and illustrates the fact that this car has been cherished and pampered from new.  An original sales brochure and three sets of keys plus the alloy wheel keys complete the amazing history file for this truly special and rare example, presented in fantastic original preserved condition.
